Grow Journal 250w hps single auto

hello mate yeah its going rather well I will be throwing up another update over the weekend. I started using bloom when I first see the white pistols coming through, keep giving them grow tho as I made the mistake and started cutting back on the grow during flower and all my fan leafs are yellowing off. My plant is crying out for some grow good job its watering day tomorrow. but its not the end of the world as I'm nearly finished this grow.

Cool! Looking forward to the update . Will you mix back in some grow nutes next feed or are you pretty much stuck with bloom now?

Just fed her she was thirsty, yeah I added 4ml grow to 4ltr of water. I cut back from 4ml grow to 2ml grow. Didn't want to give her too much as I will be flushing in the next 2-3 weeks. I upped the bloom today from 7ml to 8 ml and the topmax from 5ml to 6ml. I'm going to stop at 8ml for the bloom now and just up the topmax slowly to 8ml till I flush her twice before the chop.

You recommend running the grow all the way through then yeah ?
What's recommended dose for the nutes, she seems to be taking quite a bit for an auto , no sign of overdoing it apart from on the grow ?

Yeah I recommend keeping the grow going all the way through, I haven't done an auto for a long time and it seemed to slip my mind. Auto's seem to be sensitive to grow if you up the grow too fast it will burn the tips, I normally give my autos 4ml grow to 4ltr of water building it up slowly. But with the bloom and the topmax I up it 1ml per watering. With normal strains I go full whack with the nutes ( 4-5ml per litre as it says on the back of bottle ) but with my autos I go just less than half the strength recommended.

Bollocks to it.. I'm gonna do an update now seeming as I'm bored out my nut lol.

As you can see from the picture its looking pretty sweet apart from my fan leafs all yellowed off, but I'm not too worried about that as its only got a couple of weeks left on it. All the buds have joined up nicely together which is a good thing to see, the buds are very hard and solid at the touch which is also good. Now gonna just let her do her thing for the last couple of weeks, cant see her packing on too much weight now but she will pack on a little I'm sure of that. I will be happy with an ounce dry from this anything more is just a bonus. The smell when I rub the sugar leafs makes me hard lol, its like a right potent fruity skunky smell if that makes any sence. Smells exactly the same as when I did her couple years back and if she comes out any think like she did before then I'm in for a right treat over Christmas with my haribo's and my home alone and die hard films lol.

Looking good , should say you've got your oz and probably a bit over.
There much smell coming off till you start touching her ? What you gonna do with her regarding flush ?

yeah I was thinking about the same in yield just over an O, I did this strain before in smaller pots and it didn't yield to cleaver then either. It seems to be a small yielder but its a powerful smoke. There is only a slight smell when I unzip the tent nothing over powering like some cheese and lemon plants I have done over the past years. its a good stealthy grow. Well with flushing I wait till I start seeing the pistols receding back into the buds and when there half receded then I start to flush with just room temp water that's been sitting there for 24 hours no ph. I normally give my plants 2 flushes over the space of a week and half before chop.

You talking just feeding with plain water or proper flush as in like 2xcontainer amount ? I'm bit unsure on my approach yet , a lot on here claiming it as unneeded but I was always understanding it needed feeding nothing but water for last week or two before RIU .

It's syrup isn't it ? Does sound appealing , might wait till your flashing the bud porn and look into getting 1 , syrup just has sticky written all over it lol

I never flush 2x pot size, I did that once on some blue cheese and even tho the smoke was really nice and strong I washed out all the taste and couldn't taste fuck all! I wasn't happy lol, yeah plain water. I fill up a 5ltr bottle of water straight from my bathroom tap then I leave it sitting in my bedroom for 24 hours with the lid off the bottle, then I slowly fed it like normal until I see water coming out from the bottom of the pot. I do that once then about 4-5 days later I do it again wait a few days then chop. My friends are always giving me complements how nice my weed comes out which I always lap up of course lol. Now some people will say "that's not a flush" well... it works for me everytime in BioBizz.

Yeah syrup, I'm glad I bought a pack of 5 seeds now because I have got 3 seeds left. I germinated 2 incase 1 didn't make it so i threw the other 1 away. If you read up on syrup seeds they say "heavy smoke that you can almost chew" well... they are not lying I tell ya that much lol. It hammered every single one of my friends and they was gutted when I run out of it.

I would happily grow some more straight after this 1 but seeming as I got a freebie seed and it is northern lights x big bud I'm dying to get it under my 250w hps lol, never had northern lights before but always heard good things about it. I will be germinating that a few days after I cut the syrup down. Soon as its dried out in my tent the seedlings going straight in lol.

Haha sounds good will deffo look into it for my next auto . Yeah a lot mixed reviews on flushing here , a lot of science to prove the lack of need mainly but I'm the same wouldn't flush my plant in the conventional sense but definatly wouldn't feed up until chop lol

Northern lights is nice , so is big bud not grown but have smoked before so I can only see mixing the two to be a good thing , is that an auto or photo? And you only grow one at a time , never start at half way through mark and share space?

I'm the same mate I never feed up to harvest. its an auto fem so I'm looking forward to it, I would love to do more than 1 at a time but I'm working out of a dr 60 grow tent which is tiny plus I use my tent to dry my weed too which can take up to 10-14 days before it gets cured in jars. So its a bit of a pain lol.

Haha nicely tucked out the way , I'm working with pretty much the cupboard youve got your tent in, so not much difference in size as my cupboard starts about 2ft off the floor lol I was hoping to start another about half way through so the waits not aslong , just got new fish tank though so debating using the old 1 for a little box to start in ..

Do you know what... I could get another tent the same size right next to this one I already got. Last year I was going to do that and have autos growing 4 weeks apart from each other. That would be great harvesting every 4-5 weeks , only reason I didn't do it because id have no where to hang my clothes lol I would have to use my kids clothes cupboard. My cupboard looks big but in the other side of cupboard I have got a chimley breast which takes up alot of room. Ohh yes things do come in handy around the house its got to be done lol

I'd get the tent and put my clothes on the floordrobe lol

lol stop planting seeds in my head lol, I might even just use me kids cupboard to hang my clothes in get the best of both worlds

day 51

I am happy to say that I think this is going to be done quicker than I thought, I looked at her today and I noticed that the white pistols have just started to recede back into the buds, which means for me to stop using nutes now and to just flush her. The soil is still wet from last feed so got to wait till she dry's out a bit more before I give her my first flush. I am hoping to give her 2 flushes before she gets the chop. She produced quite well from 20/4 hours lighting seeming as syrup is only an average yield. So I'm going to stick with that lighting schedule for every auto I do from now on. The thing I like about this grow is that even the buds around the bottom which we call (pop corn buds) are rock hard and dence too so I will have no fluffy bottom buds as we sometimes get where the light don't get to them enough. There is also some nice nuggets at the back which you cant really see in the pics. I will be removing all the fan leafs from the plant the day before harvest, its something I have always done. It just saves a lot of time on the harvest in my opinion.

Sorry about the quality of the pictures once again, I'm going to ask santa for a new camera for Christmas.

Not far off now m8 , my nutes arrived this morning so just done my first mix with the bio-grow @ 1.5ml-2L she will probably get that tomorrow , glad to hear 20/4 has done ya good I was thinking of dropping to 18/6 from 20/4 what did you run before 20/4 ?
Northern lights aren't far off seeing the soil now then , how's the hunt for tent number 2 going just think if it was already there you'd have 1 ready a month after this haha
Still guessing bout an oz or you bumping up now your popcorns on roids lol

Hello mate, good to hear your nutes arrived. To be honest with ya mate I used to run 18/6 on autos but in smaller pots, now I use 12ltr pots so cant really compare the difference. Plus this is the first time ive ever done 20/4 on an auto, I have seen people getting good results on autos with 24/0 lighting but I don't like the sound of that. I mean.. I wouldn't want to be awake 24 hours a day lol. Yes mate you know about the northern lights lol I cant wait to pop that seed. I have seen a tent which is basically the same size as 2 of my tents pushed together which would fit lovely in my walldrobe, only thing with that is I wouldn't be able to use my 250w in there id probably have to use a 400w hps cool tube or something? I don't know still having a think about it lol.

On roids lool, I don't know ya know I reckon there could be an O and a half there once all dried out. Its fucking gutting when you see it shrinking every day for 3-4 days puts a lump in me throat lol.
