Grow Journal 250w hps single auto

She will be coming down Monday morning as I have just started to see amber trichomes, by Monday I should see a lot more amber that's when I like to harvest roughly 20%-30% amber is the heavy cant get off the sofa stone that I like. It will be 66 days in total, the pistols have more or less receded back into buds now. She had 2 flushes so by Monday she should be nice and dry ready for the chop. I will do before and after pictures on Monday. Have a nice weekend people

I've just ordered Girl Scout cookies auto to start towards the end of mine little depressing knowing mine won't be ready till 2017 lol sounds ages like that ... 66 days to amber trichs sounds good though , dya know what breeder and what they said would take ?

Yeah I only had time to get a quick auto in before X-mas and timed it well. It will be chopped Monday and with a full 7 days drying it will be ready to smoke on the 12th December perfect lol. Yes that is 66 days from seed mate (just over 9 weeks in total), I just looked at that girl scout auto sounds and looks really nice with that minty/chocolaty taste with a whooping 22% THC. Might have to add that one to my auto list in the future. lol 2017 I'm sure your half way through so it wont be too long now. It is Buddha syrup and they say it takes 56 days from seed to harvest but I never go by what the breeder says, what ever they say its normally an extra week to a week and a half from my experience. if your after a weak body high then people should harvest when breeder says so, if you want a real stoner which is what I go for then give it an extra week or two.

Who wants a weak body high lol I wanna be a dribbling mess , yeah sounds really nice tbh , this green crack I'm doing is supposed to hit 20% thc with a mango flavour no frost yet though looking forward to seeing your finished product , do you cure your bud 250 or just smoke when dry ??

lol yes mate you know that makes sence, but some people cut there plants early so they don't get too stoned! I cant get my head around that lol. if ya gonna grow gear you want it as strong as, I just looked at that one made my mouth water just reading it...
Tart Citrus, Earthy Exotic Touches, Spicy, Mango. yeah I do cure but as soon as its gone through its changes normally 5-7 days drying time I start to smoke it. after 10-14 days hanging in pitch darkness then I throw it into glass jars for a cure. I used to use plastic Tupperware boxes to cure but it the smell always used to leak through the seal and stink my bedroom out with stinky weed lol, so I switched to glass jars and I put electrical tape around the seal to make it smell proof. its a pain in the arse but I need to do it lol.

Lengths you gotta go through with kids in house m8 lol yeah it sounds ace , hoping the flavour comes out like it says .. gotta rate herbies if your after any I ordered that Girl Scouts yesterday standard delivery and today , booom !

Just see your plant, looks proper healthy mate nice work. Herbies was shut down couple weeks back glad to see its back up and running again. I thought the old bill closed them down somehow. I have ordered from herbies, gorilla, barneys farm and pick & mix site they are all good seed sites ive never had a problem with none of them.

Didn't know they shut down , glad I didn't would have made me nervous as fuck lol but like I said next day and it arrived , only thing I did notice was had to pay as a bank transfer and email them when done as apposed to them just taking the payment like last time .. pick and mix is herbies they also run an auto specific 1 which I used this time to get an auto as freebie instead of fems or regs

Yeah there was a thread on here somewhere all taking about herbies being shut that's how I found out about it. when I went to view there site it said "we are currently closed" you couldn't use the site. I think theres a couple of pick and mix sites I like to use them for when you want to order single seeds instead of buying them in packs. Have a butchers at this baby! she has exploded over the last 13 days while having 2 flushes. I didn't think she would pack on much more weight but I was wrong lol. The buds have now got a purplish tint to them too, when I googled syrup it said that if you drop the temperature just a little bit she will turn a little purple right at the very end. Wished I had a decent camera so I could show ya, I'm off out now to buy some latex gloves and some sellotape for Mondays harvest. I find if you don't wear gloves its hard to get the smell off your hands and I use the tape to tape up the cracks around me bedroom door so house doesn't smell I leave bedroom window open a little too to air out. heres a picture 13 days ago and another picture I took lastnight.

Fucking hell shes packed it on lol yeah I've heard of a few strains showing purple when temps drop , what sorta temps you been getting at lights off to bring the purple out ?

Weird question 250 but at start of flowering you ever check on your plant to find a random leaf look like a giant rain drop hit it ?? Keep seeing it on mine every now and then , don't think it's water because when I rub it it smells ace but no idea what could be lol

Yeah I'm a happy guy it must of shocked her getting plain water and she pumped up a bit lol, through out the grow its been around 82-84 but lucky for me the temps have dropped in the uk so for the last 2 weeks its been 78-80 in there that's when I noticed the purple tint to the buds. Yeah I will get a picture for ya tomorrow. If that rain drop effect your talking about is like a white smear in a rain drop form then yes I have had that a few times before, but couldn't tell ya what it is tho.

I have just done the donkey work and had a little trim up on the colas this morning, I have always done it the day before the chop as you get a more clear indication on what you have got also it cuts the time of the harvest. So tomorrow all I got to do is chop each cola from the bottom and hang it upside down makes things more simple for me. I'm sure I have got an O and a half there unless my eyes are playing tricks on me lol. The main cola is at the back on the right, the side colas have produced more bud than the main cola lol. I'd say your bout right on the yield , deffo over an oz anyway lol temps dropped in U.K. ? Don't need to tell me that , it's fucking freeeezing !!! Least you got purple buds from it all I've got is purple hands haha I trim before I chop as well nowt worse then hanging upside down for week then chopping , just makes things hard work imo.

Purple hands lol joker, big sigh of relief this morning after chopping her down. yeah your right about trimming before hand, it took me 10 minutes this morning to hang her upside down seeming as I had a little trim up yesterday. Saves a lot of time plus you don't stink your house out as much. Done a few pictures for ya to see the purple tint, I just hope the purple stays there during drying and don't disappear lol as it looks real tasty. I don't trim all the way to the buds when harvesting I like to have a little bit of leaf as you can see in the pictures, its all THC so why waste it lol just a personal preference that's all. Take no notice about where the fan is on the last 2 pictures as I replaced the fan and had it pointing towards the floor on low setting after taking the pictutes, we all no you cant have a fan blowing directly on your buds while drying.

Mission accomplished, be popping that northern lights seed in a few days cant wait. oh I will do a smoke report once its dry enough to smoke then I do another quick one once its been cured.

I chop all the leaves off , don't throw them away though as like you say it's all thx and on a day with no bud left sometimes can be a life saver lol
That does look sexy as fuck though , be hard to keep the colour there I think but even without the tint of purple looks frosty as fuck id say your a lot closer to 2 oz then you are 1 , hard to tell without being able give Buds a little squeeze but looks it to the eye .. I've been at hospital since yesterday morning , other half just had another little boy and to top it all off I come home to see my scrog has tops coming through about 6 of the 9 squares lol

All the buds are rock solid so I'm hoping for a decent yield, I see around 20% amber. looking forward to smoke it as when I did her before around 3 years ago it put me and my mates on our arse's lol. Nothing better than growing ya own gear at least you know it will be a clean smoke. That's also good news to hear about your tops coming through the net, I love autos you see a difference in the growth every day. I suppose your be on the night duty tonight with the baby milk to give the missus a break.

Thanks m8 ova moon , right little chunk unfortunately no bottle feeds for me just yet m8 she's going natural lol plenty of black nappies for me though .. does look nice m8 , think I'm going to grab myself one for the future , I only hope for 2oz anything under not to depressing anything over a bonus and deffo looks like capable of producing in that area .. curious to see how mine goes , how did you find the stretch in autos when flowering , is it the usual two weeks like on photos ?

I can defo recommend this one only because I have done it in the past so I know what I'm in for, lucky for me I bought a pack of 5 syrup so I still got 3 sisters to do when ever I want. I germinated 2 seeds just incase one didn't make it. I normally smash 2 ounces in my little dr60 with reg photos with a good scrog and some topping, that's why I was curious about doing a single auto as I have never done 1 single plant before. You might have already seen the picture of my last harvest on another thread on here but I will post it again. It was 2 plants in 12ltr pots, lemon diesel I did veg it for about 4 weeks tho, I got just over 4 Os dry from her .

Yeah my autos always stretch for about 2-3 weeks, nothing over 3 weeks tho. Is similar to photos. If I never had this northern light seed here I would be doing another syrup without a doubt.

Mmmm lemon deisal , I love smell of lemon weed . That looks like a decent scrog . If I get 3 weeks stretch I'll be laughing , I'm on about a week n half of stretch so far , another week and I should have it all through the screen hopefully .... cmon then 250 how much you fast dried just to try it ? Lol

I have never fast dried any bud to be honest with ya lol, but if you got any ideas how too let me know as I only have a couple of joints left lol. I might need to coz it aint gonna be dry enough till sat-sun. oh I don't own a microwave either lol

If I ever fast dry (which I do because I like to sample ) I just take a couple little nuggets and sit them behind my PS4 or on top of my modem , anything that gently blows a little hot air out , knock it about a little every hour or 2 and by tonight you should be able roll it up seems to be the gentlest approach , tried microwaving before just overkill imo lol
