im growing 2 plants do I even need a carbon filter? If I do what could I use instead?

tell us more about you . do you have to hide it from people next door ? can you keep the room sealed ? apartment ?

They will stink and people will smell them so yes you need a filter to scrub the air

Unless you live in a really secluded place the answer would be yes. Even small vegging plants stink really bad. I've tried every alternative. Nothing really works.

FYI I have a Can-Lite Filter right now and 1 plant. It really isn't doing that great of a job of filtering. I liked my Phresh filter way more.

You can get a 4" vortex fan and small filter for around $150. Don't skimp on this aspect.

I'm sealing the plants in my basement would a box fan with a house filter work okay?

This reminds me of growing some stinky afghani with no filter or ozone...lol. under my mums house...lol... boy did the neighbourhood know about it.

Haha that's funny What are some good growing tips growing clones? This will be my first time growing

Tips growing clones? squeeze the excess water out of the jiffys or rockwool cubes. I hate aero cloning so easy to get deseases.
i had a model for sale in some stores where i live but i stopped making them as KISS works better. not as fast at cloning just less deseases.

cut cuttings on an angle with CLEAN scissors too, then use clonex or cloning powder into jiffy.

get a vent fan poke a hole in the room and have the fan sucking the air from the sealed room out the chimney .

I grow in my cupboard under CFL and smell hasnt been an issue for me , even just before harvest on the last 1 no 1 could smell a thing until they were In front of the cupboard with door open ..

I'm sure eventually I'll get a plant that makes me take all this back but if keeping it on the low isn't essential then you can get away without

i dont think you will notice 2 cfl on your electric bill

My grow room is closed an sealed what's an alternative of carbon filter fans an co2 tanks. Could I still grow my plants well with lights an fans? Thanks for the help roll it up friends!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's made the mistake of stinking up my neighborhood with afghan
