Quick update: it stretched quite a bit, seems to be kicking into warp drive, lots of bud sites popping up. Hard to tell from photos because the plant is so compact and dense. This is from day 11 of flowering

The smaller one is lush green, growing beautifully, at only 3 weeks of veg it's not quite ready to flower yet.

Update: SR1 is 38 days old, 15 days into flower.

All in all my impression of the Short Rider is, it's a really hardy little plant. True to it's billing, its really short, extremely compact and it's easy to grow. Nirvana claims it needs a "light hand" with nutes but it has taken all the plant food I've given it and thrived. Its got the "Christmas tree" structure for sure. Although it's about 1/4 the way through flower, I can already see it developing into a nice little yield, based on rate of growth per day. There are about 12 bud sites that I can identify so far. The top of course looks great and the smaller sites are not far behind. Hopefully, it keeps gettin' better.

This is awesome, I'm subbed. I'm growing some Auto Seeds Ultra Lemon Haze right now along with some other photo strains since ULH isn't a typical auto. Keep updating and keep us informed on the status of your girl finding out!!! Fun!!

subbed,nice grow lol. wonder when the gf will find it. you guys smoke anyway so she might not notice the smell too much if you smoke inside.

Haha we do smoke but not super heavy. ANd she keeps the pad odor free for the most part. Funny thing is with the Ona gel doing it's thing, if you peek in the spare room it's the light coming through the closet cracks that would tip you off. I have a really quiet fan and the scent is all but covered. Now if you open the closet, the scent hits you hard. But so far it's been about 40 days and she still doesn't know. Half way to home haha

haha you should tell her like 1 day before harvest.. be like, "hey babe i think i dropped a couple hundred dollars in the closet, go grab it for me"

hahaha same thing with me and my girl but we are both growing hiding from my mom. Ima be like ''Hey mom i think theirs mold in my closet and it stinks'' hahaha :)

Shes getting there , I am surprised she has not found it yet ! lol .. So waiting to so what happens!!!! I kinda did same thing with my wife. She dont smoke and just to keep her out of it i figured i would see how long i could keep it on the DL . She was suspicious always seeing 5 gals of water at any time in the basement.. And when i had a girl just ready to get chopped i showed her... She laughed and called me a fucktard ! but she didnt care to much...:weed:
