Thanks for the look. The smoke report will be sweet to do, I've had a long time to stare at this plant.

Day 73 of 12/12. Please ripen. It's the grower's equivalent of the mirage, beautiful plant but nothing to smoke.

Beginning to think this is a Haze that's dressed up in an indica 'suit' just to mess with my head. Pics are good though. Tric focus is best a bit right of center and plenty of clear waving a 'not done yet' message.

Day 74 of 12/12. Well, I've think I just crossed the finish line, though it's a confusing finish

Here's what I'm seeing, a few small patches of amber trics have showed up. May have been there for a day or 2, maybe not. There are a few of these scattered around the main cola. No more than 1% of total tric count, probably less.

The confusing part is it's a few spots, but not all over the cola. Most areas are clear and cloudy. Call it 50% cloudy, though that may be a stretch. Now I think I will cut the main cola. This was my plan in the beginning, to cut at the 1st 'true' amber trics. And they are where they should be, right in among all the 'forests' of white and clear.

Feedback welcome as always, but I feel committed to act. Any longer, and this stuff will couch lock me for sure. 1 picture of a clear/cloudy area, the other picture of the amber spot. Focus isn't great but the light brown color does show.

lol, yeah I know, it hard to take the ax to it but,
I think it's harder to smoke it.
just becouse I like to look at it, hold it, smell it, caress it........
that sounded weird

Scoped it down today for a good half hour. Amber trics have started to show up that are scattered all over the cola. Not a lot, maybe %2. But that is the 'sign' I've been waiting for.

I'm also beginning to think I've under counted the milky a bit. Re-read some other harvest threads that showed a more translucent color than white, but called milky. So the white/cloudy/amber ratio isn't quite what I though I'd see. But the main cola looks 'done'. Pistils mostly brown, fat gooey cola, amber trics are starting to show.

So cola pix tomorrow and the 'wet weigh in'. My fingers are crossed.

Well, couldn't wait any longer. Off she came! Her and 1 of her sisters. Damn the smell! Unbelievable! Lot of pine, and definitely some citrus. Trimmed her up too(mostly). Weight and pics in a half hour.
 
The fruit of 95 days, well part of the fruit. One main cola and one side bud. Weighed in at 55 grams wet. I'm guessing another 70-80 grams on the plant. Could be a bit more. Something over a ounce in dry weight I think. So, the centerfold.

this will be my test of self control - i'm going to make do with the trimmings made into oil until cured
i've been out of the sweet weed for too long - i need this baby cured to full potency(or good fraction)
1 week dry, 3 week cure
and so time to begin starting a second grow - another tube, another plant - jock horror

i've done well with an indica with this setup, sativa dominant is going to be a whole new deal
but read up on a few tricks that may help it work

You know growone we've had our differences but you DO know how to grow one hell of a plant. Basically just did a hps grow with 3 cfl's. I'm impressed.
