He thinks preflowers under 18/6 after a month of veg means "bunk genetics".
He also found a male from his batch and called it a "hermie", even though the plant had no previous signs of intending to be a female. It was 1000% male.
Seems like this is his first time cracking non-feminized seeds and he's noobing out hardcore. Let him kill his beautiful plants because he thinks they're autoflowering on him.

i wanna punch the guy and i havent even seen his face his voice annoys me
=) yep its called reaching sexual maturity if you notice in veg initially you get nodes that match up on either side of the plant, after a month or two you start getting alternating nodes like its in flower, even though your not in flower you should still be able to sex them then and know what they are without flipping the switch, its how the cops in vegas tried to hit me with 8 mature plants instead of 8 immature plants. I had had most of em for over 2 months in veg and they were showing just a little bit enough to know they were females.

ok thanx riu fam. i was confused, i am a newb and not afraid to say it, less than a year growing. i have jilly bean in flower right now and they look fantastic. i vegged for about 5 weeks and wasnt able to determine sex till day 5 of flower.
i dont know why that guy made such a big deal about it, he calls it a hermie but in my limited time growing and studying a hermie has to have BOTH male and female parts, that plant in question doesnt have female parts. i dont understand why sex being determined in veg isnt a GOOD thing. i think it is... dont have to flower waste those nutes(if you dont plan on running males). also, wtf, the plants are in VEG they arent going to contaminate any plants, correct? will the sacks even bust open in that situation??

i honestly still have trouble sexing my plants in veg even though i know what to look for i think mainly its the fact that lately i've been doing a lot of hydro so my mothers havent been that large usually when i start pulling cuts, nor do i veg long if i start from see because im scroging very close to the base of my plant and im limited height wise lately. But i know if i let em go long enough they will show me the goods, you just gotta be patient, you dont always get to go home with the girl the first night you know?
So very true sub, if you got haters, you definitely made an impact good or bad, in your case it happen to be good, not sure where i would be this season honestly without jilly and AO, which still hasnt started to fill
it grows so wierd but damn does it pump out the trichs and smell bomb. Without those two all i would have is a foot and a half blue dream im lookin at gettin a o off of. -_-, AO is going to save my ass, i cant afford to buy meds living off of social security and paying rent, i have to grow my own or i dont get my meds. Not trying to kiss ass or anything just sayin, that for a last minute strain and a RANDOM as hell cut that someone on this forum was kind enough to donate, i would be SCREWED. AO is gonna be in my garden with jilly and blue dream for a long time to come.

i have the flav growing at the moment from seed along with angel heart from mr nice, i have no complaints one of the flav pheno's and one of the angelheats are showing chinensis traits with bud growing out of the middle of fan leaves really looking foward to smoking both strains
i was able to sex both strains at 3 days of 12 hours by male preflowers on 6 plants, i removed them and took cuttings from the remainder female* plants
i could of possibly detected the males sooner but this was when i decided to look for the preflowers they had been in veg for 4 weeks previously
the very tall flav pheno im keeping has a lemon sherbet smell with a hint of a fuel .. i had previously read folk had problems rooting cuttings from this strain, im glad to say the flav cuttings rooted 2nd fastest after my pure mango haze pheno in 10 days

thats strange, Ive always really appreciated a plant, if it was a male, and it showed me so I didnt have to waste my time transplanting and moving it to the flower tent. I would consider that strong genes expressing themselves early, as a male plant should for pollenation?...unless i missed somthing?
