Growing in an apartment?

Just wondering...how safe is it to grow in an apartment? I know they do random inspections so i wonder how that would play out....

They can't look inside your furniture and personal stuff. But any grow larger than that, you better hope nothing ever happens to where they need entrance like a flood or fire or anything.

Don't even leave the remote to the stereo where the dogs will accidentally turn it on and crank the volume while they're trying to get to some food you may have left on the end table while you're not there at the time. (uh huh, I'm not making that up.)

i would say its pretty safe. i have been for the last year in a tent i got from htg. when they need to do an inspection they always leave a notice a day in advance. so i take the tent down and hide the ladies in the kitchen cabinets. when they leave it goes back up.... simple enough..

thats where a good percentage of homegrown bud is produced so i think ur safe. at least u dont have a very likely chance of anyone doing anything about it. as long as u tell no one.

I should be getting my pot card for nevada here in the next couple days, so im not really concerned too much about the authorities, because i can legally grow 7 immature and 3 mature plants at a time, i will still grow more (i think). My main concern is with the maintenance as they are not really 'high class' people, so for them to see a few high grade marijuana plants near the end of the flowering stage, they may be tempted to steal them, or at least tell some of their gangster friends about it, and i dont need any gangsters kicking in my door.

It would also be fairly difficult to hide them....maybe put a lock on the closet or something?

IF you keep your grow small you can get a seperate wardrobe cabinet with a lock on it. It's a piece of furniture so it won't look out of place in a bedroom and nobody can look inside it and they have A LOT of room in them.

It's something you want to look for at used/vintage furniture stores or even goodwills. They are common and not really that expensive but you will need a truck.

Like this one, but you don't need one nearly this fancy and expensive they have much plainer cheaper ones:

I know people who grow in apartments.

Most leases state that the landlord/building manager have to give you minimum 24 hours notice before entering the premises.

Unless somebody told the building manager that you are growing the only reason they will have to come by is for maintenance. Just make sure you have your growroom/box/tent away from pipes, plumbings, wahser/dryer, or anything else that requires maintenance.

If it is a scheduled visit make sure you're there. If they are just going to be there for a short time turn your fans off and unplug your pump so they don't hear trickling water or a lot of moving air.

I do it, just make sure that your neihbors either cant, or dont mind the smell. Smell travels farther then you may think. and be sure to know when your landlord is commin by
