Growing in volcanic soil

I know this may be far fetched but...
Does anyone have any type of idea what type of strand this may be? It’s from a bagseed out here in Central America. It’s supposed to be a seed from one of the better strands out around these parts.

Also side note: We live on a volcano and I’m growing it from volcanic soil which is supposed to be some of the most fertile
soil on the planet. Wondering how this will go

It should grow really well. However you should still add perlite to air it out some.

Cant tell strain from that. And likely not even when its fully mature. You may be able to figure out indica, sativa or hybrid over time, but its way too early to tell anything. I've grown in rockwool, which is volcanic rock spun into a fiberglass like substrate. And yes pearlite is a good idea, OR...crushed up seed sized pieces of volcanic rock itself. Just to get good air pockets in the soil. The roots need it.
