Growing Without Nutrients. Just With A Bit Of Miracle Grow, It's Going Well.

Hey all. I'm wondering who else doesn't use nutrients or PH levels. All i use is just plain old H2O. Every other time i fill up my watering can i add a little scoop of miracle grow to it and it seems to be working. My plant is extremely healthy and i'm excited to see what it will yield. Alot of these nutrients are just way overpriced and i think i'll save my money. Anyone else here use miracle grow? I've seen people say they use it and some say it's bad for your plants. It clearly isn't bad for MY plant, it's doing well. I'm just going to use water and no miracle grow for the last 2 weeks of flowering, i don't want to screw up the taste of my bud.

I'm actually pretty excited to see what the buds will look like. i've been looking around and MG has made the buds look pretty impressive on alot of peoples plants.

If you are adding MG then you are growing with nutrients. False thread title!

Agree with brother jericho. And really, nutes are overpriced? Then don't buy the overpriced ones. You can get a bottle of something that'll last all grow for a few plants for like 4 bucks. Overpriced my ass. And if that's too much, make your own tea's use manure and so on. MG nutes is not something I'd want in my soil. I have flowered plants without any nutes, and the buds were not as dense. Also if you mix up supersoil, you really don't need any nutes at all. ;)

Chill, do you really think i meant to lie in the title. Everyone here knows what i meant so what's the problem?
What you meant? Sure, I did too, but perhaps you should realize that all nutes are nutes, price has nothing to do with them being called "nutes".

Technacally the title wasn't false, but more of a contradiction. "Growing without nutrients, just a bit of miracle grow" It's like to saying to a cop, it's not drugs it's just weed. As for nutrients being expensive, well some are and some arn't. It depends on what you use and how much of it your useing, but there're definitly better products out there that are just as cost-friendly as mg, if not cheaper as dc4 pointed out.

I've been looking around, and locally all the nutes are pretty expensive. Anyway my point was i don't need any other nutrients at the moment because MG seems to be doing the job.

The blue powder water soluble all purpose MG I used when I began is missing a fuck ton of micro elements weed uses... like 8 or 9. I don't know if other soil versions and shit are the same way, but probably. Some of the MG soil has time release ferts and its usually too hot. I bought some MG perlite the other day for a hempy bucket. Got me it home and that shit said pretreated with MG and I took it back.

You can grow weed with MG, but remember veg is easy; you can literally veg on piss.

The problem with miracle grow is that it lacks calcium. This isn't exactly a problem if you're using it properly. Just make sure the soil you're using has enough lime when you mix it. A lot of areas have a lot of lime in the soil naturally whereas other regions are lacking. For areas that naturally have a lot of lime in the soil, it makes sense that people use MG for their lawns.

ive used miracle gro and noticed that it can burn a lot quicker than big bloom or equivalent. I suggest feeding every two weeks
