yes Gumball, that is what I was using before the pen. I compared the results and the solution is right on target with the pen.
Yes it's a flood and drain ebb and flow system. I have three items operating down under in my reservoir basin (the yellow and black box). First, is an air stone, a small pump circulating the reservoir water and the bigger pump pumping water up into the flood tray. My drain height is at the hydroton level. I flood them for two minutes at the hydroton level. Then, it shuts down and drains out completely. Five times over a 16 hour light period. The flood tray was made from a rubber made large tote. I just cut it in half, Oklahoma style. I didn't want to buy a pre-made system because I wanted to customize it more and pay a little less. The lights were given to me by my younger sister. Wonder what she used these lights for?

Mine does not tell me PPM. I was going to just gauge the plants based on their needs clean out the res. occasionally and use my 3 part hydro food. Dutch classic or some such.Thanks easy420, your thanks is very much appreciated!
I like that pen. Do you have a PPM too? With hydro they are both really needed. I see the combo's, but I am worried if I get a combo then if it breaks your out both. At least if you get 2 items you only lose one if it drops on the floor of the garage and the wife runs over it
i dont even let it sit outside any more all i have for testing is some litmus paper but gonna get a proper pen at some point.

I can see the trichs forming nicely and it looks like you will have some good buds. LST is perfect on the BS and the LS looks to be staying really compact with a single cola. I reckon more 'Red Bull' can sized buds on the horizon using the cmh, really prefect for such grows as V12 has showed us all

Are you planning to make this a perpetual type grow by starting a third baby in there like V12 does?
She smells a little but its not constant yet. I had to put a little ONA in there once, but not anything lately unless I open the case.

Hey easy420! They are 12/12 for about 4 weeks now. I have a 4000k 100 watt CMH, and it works for both veg and flower. The binder clips do work well and should work good with the air pots too.
