Yes, lst is in order. Look up v12xjs perpetual pc grow. He was my inspiration that I could make this work, and he has had great success. I think he said he did not have to buy any herb for almost the whole time he had his pc in operation. Good luck
 
hey gum, am i right thinking that you have used lime in the medium? if so from what i have read is that you get nute lock out if you use to much due to the high ph, but them leaves dont look good :( i have seen them like that on my plants some times but normally late in flowering.
 
Yeah, but I repotted without the lime. Been using strAight water since, 2 good flushings I think. No signs of improvement yet :( thanks tamjam
 
Im lost gumball and have to admit i cant help you with that :-? im still new to this game and have many years of hands on experience to learn :) have you thought of doing a thread in the plant problems section?
 
Hey gum. Forgot to say I use Phostrogen at full strength to mist. It's only cheap but it really revitalizes them.

I don't see many 50/50 soilless grows other than hempy's. My attemps at hempy's have been pretty dismall so I'd be no help to you :)
Personally I'm trying to get shut of this coco so I'm using that with 20% sphagnum moss and it's working out well. When the coco is used up I'll be on 40% compost/ 40% perlite/20% sphagnum moss, it's my fave recipe.
 
Hey how do you have the light setup in there? What size fans do you have in there 80mm or 120mm? How are the ladies lookin? How many you gonna have going in there? And also, have you heard any news on our medical act HB1380? It was on the news a few weeks back but I havn't heard much else about it, they were supposed to vote on it in july.

hey malice! i have 2 90 degree PVC elbow in an S shape. one end is a 80mm fan, and the other is a coleman lantern globe for the cooltube. i hung it with copper wire and magnets, as not to damage the glass. i have a 120mm fan below the 80mm for the box exhaust, and a 90mm fan in the ballast case, but it run at less than 3 watts, just enough for a light breeze and to keep it cool, but not enough to make much noise.

ladies look about the same. i dug my finger into the roots on the little pot cuz it was most dry, but there was still a lot of moisture, so I kinda mixed the roots around in the soil a bit to let them air out.

i just put another bean in a cup and we will see how 3 do. the first 2 aint growing so it will be a fucking race to get to the light first!!
 
Can you get a picture of the light/fixture? I'm debating on adding a strip of 4 cfls' and maybe 1 2 foot t5 on the side to help, not sure yet since theres so many lights and such. BTW i edited it talking about the HB1380 bill we have in the house atm. What do you think about it?

here is the best pic I could find. it is all custom built. i havent heard any news on HB1380. i think it had to get approval through finance or medical or something like that. post a link of your PC when you get it up.
 
well, please do sit back cause I dont know what to think of the pictures! please, if you have any experience with water, do help. the little medicine holder on the right is filtered city water from work. the glass on the left is my well water, unfiltered from the tap! i dont even know what to think of this. i added the 3 drops as it told me to.i am going to look at undersink filters now, but i dont know what that will do to the ph. it almost seems dangerous if this is an accurate reading!!
 
That is pretty crazy My sink water is in the blue area but i USE distilled water it seems to do fine.
 
Much better. Didn't that well water taste nasty? Damn, that was way off. Bet this takes care of your problems.

i hope so. i may still need some ph up for after I add ferts. it is down between 4-4.5 again after adding my ferts. i only want to mist them with it since they have had it so rough, ya know.
 
they havent woke up yet. the bigger one did look a little greener last night when i foliar fed them. seems that my ph is 5-5.5 after adding nutes, and i bought ph down the other day!! go figure. i may see if there is anything I can add that will raise the ph without causing harm until i get ph up. i think though even watering with 5-5.5 is better than what i was working with before. i may just give them plain water at 6.5 when they wake up, and still foliar feed a little, they should like that.
 
it is hard to tell yet. the leaves are still sagging on one, and the other still about the same. i took them out this morning and flushed them good with close to 6.5 water. i left em in the sun and the wind for the day. i dont want to give them any nutes till i can get some ph up, i dont even have any aspirin to try either. i have been collecting willow tree branches to boil and make a mix for seedlings, been thinking of trying to mix some up, heard it has good natural rooting hormones in the extracted water. maybe to leave it for another day. will report back tomorrow, hope they drank up that water by the time i get home tomorrow evening so i can dose 'em with some ph adjusted nutes!!! they have to be hungry if they were locked up at least.
