France had more gun related casualties this year alone than the last 8 years in the USA COMBINED. France has some of the strictest gun ownership laws in the world. 508 in France this year alone, vs 404 in the USA over the last 8 years. What does that say about stricter laws = less gun violence? Disproven.
The USA isn't a developing nation, why would you characterize it as such?
Lets not forget that 75% of your gun deaths statistics are SUICIDES!

Woopsy.
Pretty much makes all those gun death statistics look like a great big lie doesn't it?
20,000 of those 33,000 gun deaths are suicides by gun.

You should also compare mass killings to the population, not just the number of them. By population, the USA ranks #10 in gun deaths, and that still includes the suicides.

Rights are absolute. You cannot disarm the USA just because someone MIGHT use them in an illegal way just as you cannot put a muzzle on people going into a crowded theater to ensure no one yells fire when there isn't one. Rights are immune from so called "Reasonable Regulation". Taking guns away doesn't stop gun crimes.
