Im not really worried about them near my plants, id probably welcome it, but Ive stepped on a couple and been bitten a couple times. Luckily never by a copperhead, which are the most dangerous snakes in my parts. I always wear pants now when I go to the spots, no matter how hot it is , because of the snakes and poison ivy.ugh .. i love snakes! lol that would be good to run into .. also they keep mice and rats away! i dont get poison ivy i hate thorn bushes and insects . thats gotta be the worse .. im guerilla growing on my own land .. lol (yes it makes sense)
