hairs change at night?

it seems as if the hairs on my lowryder plant are only red when the light is turned off, been growing about 9 weeks now (almost done) but it seems like when i turn the light on the hairs turn white so what do you guys think that means about the plants maturity?

Are you sure they turn back to white? Ive never heard of this

This is impossible. The hairs are not photosensitive. If you are using HPS it could be the light reflecting off the red surface. This should tell you when to harvest.

When to Harvest

The hairs don't signify maturity anyways.
