By leaving in the dark for 72 hours they got an increase of up to 30% THC? Does that not smell like bullshit? As for any positive results, I can't say one way or another, just that a 30% increase seems like bs otherwise everybody would be doing this no questions asked. Maybe I misunderstood.
Like I said. I’m a Newbie and it’s something I read and was just asking for opinions. And no I did not study to grow plants YouTube is not studying I always had an interest in it and just never did it until this year

I don't buy a 30% increase in THC, but looking at the wording it indicates that the plants that were given the dark period were put into the dark at the same time the non-dark period plants were harvested. That means the dark period plants were given 3 extra days of ripening trichomes compared to the non-dark period plants. That alone means its results are questionable.
Understood. Thanks for your input.

did you happen to take any before and after pics of this gooo?
No. And most likely it was probably the dim light hitting it. Was only in there for 30 seconds to check my humidity level. I’m not insinuating it’s from the dark. It could be just from living 3 extra days.

cured weed always taste like crud or mold to me
The Stichting Institute of medical Marijuana (SIMM), the first company to sell marijuana through the pharmicies of Holland, has been investigating the medical possibilities of cannabis, together with TNO laboritories and the University of Leiden.

One of their discoveries has been that to keep the ripe plants in the dark before harvesting could increase their potency.

SIMM's growers seperated a crop of mature plants, harvested half of them and kept the other half in absolute darkness for 72 hours before cutting and drying.

Analysis of the resulting dried buds showed that some varieties had seen increases of THC of up to 30 %, while the CBD and CBN remained the same.
Growing obviously is not for you kid stop it.
