Ya b

ya but u don't know his circumstances so telling him to risk it for no reason is just careless on your part not to mention soil can change how fast it's absorbed especially last week so that wouldn't be his error
I did not say the error was his. I have only ever grown in soil. I have NEVER needed to water in the last 24 hours. To let a plant get that dry that close to harvest is careless and grower error.

all lot depends on that, point.how bigs the plant how dry was the plant 2 days before he is gonna take it down, because if they was dry then then the plant may dry to fast ,in a room with a hps light on it ,they can become brittle on the ends of the buds through heat.honest far better either bag drying fast ,to me I have never done it I like to leave it to dry in the dark with fans on it,but try and tie the plant so it does not twist in dry area or you are losing thousands of heads falling of ,unless you are in a situation you have to dry fast ,just take it easy ,there normally ready to jar after 7 days of drying then jar,but burp the jars, leave a month or so then smoke.I'm on my last bit of livers x cheese at the minute, but still have enough oil left.
Plus a lot matters on he is useing the lights tonight the last night of flowering, drying starts in my rooms when the plants cut, from the stem.he really drying it out while growing,

Let me clear up a few question amigos. This morning was watering day, I stopped by checked the tent and thought they looked fine. I skipped the watering and left for work. I stopped by after work and noticed three of the girls were a little bit droopy while the others were looking great. I took one down last week that was ready and yes I did have her in 24 hours of darkness before cutting her down. Very great advice and as always it's much appreciated. I'll post some pics tonight

agree with you there's a million variables that go into it but without knowing all his circumstances it's a lot safer to water then to risk it

So they were a little droopy. This does not mean they were so arid that they were going to dry up and crumble at the slightest touch. If you watered them that is fine and it won't hurt them. But, since they were obviously not completely void of water so close to harvest, it ain't gonna help them either. it will however add time to drying and curing.

HMMM I could've sworn that was my point to begin with.

However, I digress and am being rude to you sir and for that I humbly apologize. It was not my intention to jack your thread.

CONGRATS on successfully completing your virgin grow!:clap::clap::peace:

I normally stop watering a few days before I'm ready to pull it so it can dry faster, I'm just curious if there is a benefit to letting it completely dry out because I've got another one I'll cut down tonight or tomm and I haven't watered it in 5-6 days and the soil is very dry but it's not dropping it's actually looking really good even the leaves are bent up trying to grab the light, but I wonder if you let it dry out completely if it will kinda like spike anything left in the plant, I guess I'll see if I notice it dry alot faster doing this, I actually gave in and bought a dry rack since I was going to be having so much to dry
