66% and higher risks mold. Stay 55-64% during dry and cureHope It's not late hahaha. Drying and curing all depend on temps and humidity levels. 65*-70* is IMO prime 45%-50% humidity. You want to draw out the drying process though, will let the buds really flourish. Oh and my guess is he got a herm.
The 65*-70* was temp. If 66% is risk of mold why would you be even close to the 60s? To me it doesn't seem very logical unless you wanna risk losing your harvest, especially if you have dense flowers.66% and higher risks mold. Stay 55-64% during dry and cure
I agree and disagree. My guess is there was a super scrog (chicken wire), yes the longer the dry the better as it converts the chlorophyll to sugars but the time is all dependent upon your enviornment, back in Hawaii we had to get a heat bar because the buds just would not dry out. Just do what you can to keep the room/box/closet humid a humidity/temp helps greatly in this. To dry put a gaint bucket of water in there or go to a thrift store and pick up a humidifier.why cant you harvest the entire plant? you can harvest by bud or by stem or by the entire plant. if you do it by buds your buds will dry faster. it takes longer to dry them on stems which gives you better product. it should take you 6 days or so if you leave it on the stem to dry the product. if you just snip the buds off maybe 4 or 5 days.
