Yeah, I wouldn't trust these h/sinks over 20/25w without some positive fan air. I had them running passive cxa3070 @ 1.05a (36w) continuously though wasn't comfortable with it. Iv'e reconfigured mine a few times and still am.
Iv'e taken some basic temp readings but just going off comparing to the cobs I had on HSUSA sinks... so nothing definitive.
This one ^ and another the same I plan on sliding into a rack like cabinet setup over flowering vegies (holding off the watercooling etc for now) it has 6x 20w vero on the outside (passive) and two 30w vero in the middle with two fans over (blowing down), they are 90mm here but i'll be swapping for 2x120 or 140mm.. enough to draw some air through the outer cobs (as it will pretty much fill the grow space) and tussle the plants about with a bit of distance by using reflectors, iv'e got lenses on here but the cobs a bit hot for my liking.
