I have a Purple Kush thats in day 44 of flowering and already has so amber tirc.
What should I do? already started to flush with water.

From what I can gather, you want to harvest soon after amber trichs start appearing. Amber= THC degradation. Which means, if you harvest when just a few are amber, you will get maximum amount of milky////cloudy. Which is what you want.Or at least what I want.
I have a bubba kush that 45 days into flowering. Rock hard buds and more crystals than any other strain in my room. Breeders say 8 week flowering time, but its only been 6 1/2 and I'm also getting some amber trichs. Probably will harvest her at 7 1/2 weeks.
Oh and you should keep an open mind about flushing. I've read some pretty convincing articles that support giving nutes up until the end. And I see their point. I"m going to flush some and some not. See the difference

I use a microscope to look at the tricomes. when they have a bit of amber in the balled tps, they are done. Also the weeks of flowering are from when they actually set flower not when you switch your hours of light. That is why I prefer to look at them under the microscope rather than count days/weeks. The weeks give me a guideline as to when I should add nutes but not necessarily the ripe time.

Yeah keep in mind that a strain's flowering time is just a loose estimate, some can finish sooner and a bunch end up taking longer. One thing about having more amber trichs is that the more amber you have the more couch lock of a high you'll get from it. So depending on your preference you could harvest early or let it go longer. =)

This person gave you the best advice. If your seeing amber trichs.. you need to harvest as soon as possible. As he explained.. as soon as you start seeing amber trichs.. thats when the THC starts to degrade.. and you should harvest ASAP.
The 30X and 100X lighted magnifier are tools everyone serious about harvest timing should have. They make it easy to monitor the resin development process. After seeing 400X images of resin glands, I decided to also buy the 100X magnifier. It supplies a superior view, providing an enhanced perspective of resin gland condition and development.
I recommend buying the 30X model first and if you would like to expand your analytical capabilities, buy the 100X model. They both allow for a much closer inspection of the clarity, color and condition of the resin glands, which should be swollen and unbroken while remaining transparent and slightly amber, if at all, at the peak of ripeness. Some prefer harvesting earlier, as THC degrades to more sedative cannabinoids as the glands ripen.
Harvest timing is a matter of personal preference. When the glandular trichomes are clear with very little, if any coloration, THC levels are at their peak with CBD and CBN both at levels that will not overly influence the THC with their sedative effects. Some prefer more overwhelming narcotic type effects, allowing the resin glands to cloud and begin to amber or darken to increase overall cannabinoid content. The resin glands appear and therefore will mature at different times. A compromise is made when determining the desired overall maturity level to harvest. It depends on the growers preference in effect and palate.

IMHO....amber trics mean you are losing some of the best the plant has to offer. I've grown for years and harvested with amber, milky & clear just to KNOW what the diff is.....I did not enjoy any strains I let go mostly amber............being a medicinal user, I'm quite picky about type & potency of the various strains I grow. The past couple of years, I ONLY harvest when 90% milky, a few clear and even fewer amber. THAT baseline rule allows me to depend on the plants genetic code....If you want couchlock, grow an indica..........

If you got the cash, I'd go for the USB 420 scope. I got the hand held one, which works good, its just hard to hold hand still.

That sounds about right..Yup, search 420scope If you put a space between it, you'll get gun scopes and other crap...
