I don't know about the not watering thing, but the whole "stop the ferts, and let them get out", you can't just stop the nutes and expect them to get out on their own, you gotta flush out the nutes with at least 3 times the amount of water that your pot is. So for a 5 gallon pot, flush it with 15 gallons of water. You want to do this about 2 weeks prior to harvest.:joint:

I think that this is what you were talking about. Pre harvest flushing is a controversial topic. Flushing is supposed to improve taste of the final bud by either giving only pure water, clearing solutions or extensive flushing for the last 7-14 days of flowering.

What I was told about witholding water was that it made the plant think that it was dying and it put all it's goodies into the buds. Is that true? I dunno. I don't do that.

I think it might be true about the withholding water thing...because I took one of my males and trapped it in a closet and never watered it again(about 3weeks no water/and no light) and it grew tall as shit obviously but the interesting part to me at least is that it produced a whole bunch of sax still and released pollen already..like it rushed itself to finish because it knew it was going to die or some shit IDK
