Has anyone grown and harvested without checking ph levels?

I did kind of. I started checking soil pH like 6 weeks into flower. I didn't do too well, but my pH stayed around 6-7

PH testing is too important to leave to chance imo, cheap ph kits/pens on Amazon for under £10, it's nothing to pay for peace of mind, even in soil, which is a great ph buffer, when you add food to the water you will invariably change the ph.
Fluctuating PH can lead to all sorts of problems and deficiencies, and prevents the optimum nutrient uptake
In soil PH 6.5-7.0
In coco PH 5.6-6.2

Never checked the ph of my water either but I do filter my grow water with a DuPont filter that supposedly filters out 99.9% of impurities. I have well water & do have a lot of iron in it. I add Epsom salts to the water about every 3 weeks to help with cal & mag lockout.

you should do a little research in Organic growing Java...you will learn a lot about plant mechanics and understand all types of grows better. You would be correct if I was using salt based fertz, but oraganics, you should NEVER PH adjust..

Also If you are using city water, your PPM count probably is at least 200ppm...and using ph adjuster's you are adding another couple hundred PPM to bring your nutrient solution within range....Higher PPM before nutrients = less nutrients available to plants and more unknown variables in your feedings....So I would highly suggest not using city water, and also looking into organics....

My city water after it sits over night with a bubbler is 100 ppm sometimes 114 ppm but my ph down definitely dose not add hundreds of ppm to adjust from my normal tap water witch is 7.2 to the 5 gallon buckets witch start out at 5.5-5.8 ph and 2-500 ppm after adjusted ,” including my city water ppm of 100-114 ” , I’m also running dwc so my ppm and ph is pretty important and have went through a few ph meters already, currently use the nutradip but just broke the probe :/ 100$ down the drain , no organics over here tho maybe another grow

I dont really check PH anymore with Jacks 321. I just use a digital scale and one squirt of ph down and I'll be within range every time.

I never PH the soil because I think ...and i've read from people with more experience in soil indoors than I... watering to run off is a nono...But i always PH water to 6.5

I’ve grown lots of bud using soils and peat mixes without adjusting pH. Early Pro Mix didn’t have lime. pH was around 4.5. I poured RO water with cal mag and nutes into everything. Did fine. Then got tired of lugging jugs of RO water at -30F every night from work and started watering with bathroom water. Municipal water straight from the tap. My only concern or measurements were EC. Then really only in hydro.
