Has anyone used the 4 bulb adapters?

Will say this.. if you choose to go with it.. do not go higher than the max wattage they specified or you will probably not like what happens... 45 watts per bulb -max- no exceptions.

That's easily doable with CFL's as 100 watt equivalents are just 27 watts...
Yup, they do make bigger models though and some think bigger = better, and it could end up being melted sockets/fire hazard if the warning is ignored. Just figured I'd say that so if a house burns down.. I gave the warning and no one can say "No one said it wasn't safe.".

Also, the socket you screw your new adapter into, has a max wattage rating, read the UL label, and do not exceed....

I use them. 8 bulbs per adapter. I bought three from Amazon and would co-sign for others buying them! You can see them in action in my thread. Only using 2/3 right now tho :joint:

ps I've used 105w in them without a prob. Right now they're both stocked with 8 23w CFLs

I checked my fixture rated for 60 watts per fixture, 4x23 would be too much, but not 4x13, so I do not know if they would be worth it or not, maybe a small fixture for hanging...Thanks for the input.

I'm currently using two of those fixture with 8 x 23w bulbs in each and have had no probs.
And IMO, you'd be wasting your time with any bulb less than 23w.
They're too weak as far as light intensity goes
