I read online that it is good to start plants in a 16 oz cup then transplant into gallon jugs for first harvest then transplant into large pots for the second harvest. I was wondering if anyone has used this technique and what results and/or tips do you have?
IMO, it sounds to me that's exactly what you need to do. Re-vegging takes too long, and puts stress on your plant. Best case scenario with re-vegging, you stunt your plant a little. Taking clones just before flowering will give you 8- 12 week old clones when your harvest has finished. You can then push the clones into flowering... 2 harvests.
As far as starting in cups and moving to buckets. I think you should move them to your buckets by week 4 or 5. No reason not to. Worked for me!(see attachments)
Revegging can take a LONG time! It's not the most efficient way to grow. I revegged a plant once and it took over 2 months to fully revert and start putting out new growth! You could fully flower a batch of clones in that time.
