I used to grow with mostly T5s, all sorts of different aquarium tubes with a full wide spectrum. I'm still using Coral Waves as a supplement and warm\cool white mixes for vegging, but all of those are going away with the dodo bird as I build my own lights.

Just to give you an idea as to how far the warm white cobs have evolved ....
T5s run around 100 lumens/watt ... well the latest cobs are now running 140 - 200 lumens per watt. That mean with the latest and greatest I can almost double the light output with the same wattage.

Any spectrum mix that you can develop with T5s I can create with leds at a higher efficiency and at a higher density.

legal weed is changing the pricing\profit. if your not squeezing out every penny of margin in your grows you won't last.
wa state is now wholesaling well under 2K a pound.

Fluro's are one of the weakest intensity lights that can grow weed, I started out using them over 5 years ago, trust me there are better options, a MARS hydro is a better light and they are a joke in the LED community.

Of fluffy low quality buds, never been impressed with any picture you have posted , always fluffy hardly any frost besides pictures that are so zoomed in you cant even see the plant. You are using a light less efficient than the worst LED or HID light.

I mentioned lumens just to give a eyeballs estimation of the difference in efficiency between T5HOs and cob lights.
Prefectly suitable to roughly compare a warm white T5HO vs a warmwhite COB, for sheer ouput using an industry standard measurement.

so don't give me that crap about lumens for humans, when I didn't try to equivocate lumens to PAR.

DO YOU DENY that warm white cobs are at least 50% more efficient than T5HOs ?

No i am just waiting to see this grow op that you claim your saving 100's month ?? that is a pretty big claim must be lots of wattage ???
