Having Some Plant Problems

Hello members of RIU,

4 out of the 5 plants I have growing are showing some interesting things on their leaves, from spots to small holes and slight discoloration, and I would like to get some of your thoughts on what may be going on, and how to fix them.

I am growing indoors, under a QB LED style light, in coco with perlite, and have been fertilizing the coco with Dyna-Gro Foliage Pro and Pro-Tekt each at 5 mls/gal in non-ph'd water. The watering cycle kind of varies depending on how wet the medium is, currently I'm watering about every 2 days or so. Temp's range anywhere from high 60's at night/early morning, to low 80's in the afternoon.

This is my first indoor grow, and first time growing in coco so I don't have things totally dialed in yet.

First pics are an overview of the plant, next set are of the problem areas of each.

Any help/insight would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you are treating the coco like a soil grow. It needs to be treated like a hydro grow (daily watering/feeding). I would suggest going over to www.cocoforcannabis.com to read the wealth of info they have there for coco growers. I wish I had more info for you but I don't grow in coco.

BTW, your plants don't look bad. Those cuts in the leaves could be caused by rubbing (if the fans are blowing them to hard). I've also seen a lot of posts with cuts like those where people found it was from their cats shewing on the leaves.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to check them out!

Yeah they don't look bad per se, just want to make sure they're as healthy as can be. They are packed a bit tight in the tent, I'll make sure to separate them better to make sure they don't rub.

Check your ph every watering and if you foliar feed. Always feed and have some run off so salts dont build up. Calimagic is good stuff for coco I highly recommend it.
