Hi dudes, first post and excited to get some feedback by you, don't bee too hard :)

I just built my first grow tent, 40cmx40cm120cm by secret jardin, smallest that I found, as I want it just for one plant (automatic white widow)

I got an extractor fan, another fan for air circulation and a carbon filter.

I purchased the lamp suggested by a friend:

- 5600 lumens
- Agro 5U
- 125 w
- 2100K

As u notice it's a cold lamp.

Now it's summer and I think it should be okay to grow my first baby with the current setup I ve, I will use this lamp for growing and flowering, what do you think?

Im concerned for the winter as the room where the grow tent is placed may reach 5 degree during night, with big temperature differences between day and night.

What can be the result in such condition?

Is totally useless to give it a try during winter without heating system? and if so which SAFE system (super safe) should I go for, considering that my grow tent is so small...

I really want to avoid any risky solution and the idea of an heater in such small space concern me a lot..

Photo plants can deal with cold but since you have auto i would suggest you run your light 24/0

Thanks for your replu grou,

What is the impact on an auto running 24/0? Is it not speeding up the grow and reducing the product? May be totally out of target but I read something like this around.

And why auto deal not so good with cold? I thought the auto were the best and easier option in not optimal condition.. :(

autos have limited veg time, thats why i said they cant deal with cold. especially 5 degrees. they are resilient to mold and such but if they get stunted you dont have time to recover it and end up with very small yield. plants need dark cycle i agree but its better to grow autos 24/0 (it will still grow fine) than let it freeze.
good luck

which SAFE system (super safe) should

I grow in pretty cold conditions and use these to good effect. Keeping the soil warm is important.
You can also insulate the tent area too, especially the floor with polystyrene or insulation boards to keep heat in the area.
I recirculate the air in tent with the main carbon filter fan and use a 12v pc fan with dimming to extract the air out of the area.
Hope this helps

A small space heater with a little fan pointing back at it works. I did that in my 2x4. The trick is getting even heating which requires the fan. But man that is a small tent. There are small plug in heaters that plug directly into a wall socket. That might be perfect in there, about a 300watt mini. I got one on Amazon although for larger spaces its not enough. That tent though yes.
