Height to start budding??? indoors

depends on how much space you have and the genetics you are growing. it varies from space to space or plant to plant.

Sativas obviously grow taller, so could be put into flower earlier to limit their virtical growth.

Indicas will typically be smaller bushier plants and can veg longer.

Both strains are liable to double or tripple in size from the time you put them on 12/12.

So - when you grow room is almost half full of vegging plants, putting them into flower at that point would fill your room by the 6th week.

Same here dude have made a good few mistakes in the past by vegging for way too long, this will cause all sorts of problems like as cutman said running outta space or your plant after say 2 months will be crying out for more and more N (nitrogen) and you will find the leaves start to die too fast and easily.
3-6 weeks is a good veg time period to be looking at.
Hope that helps :bigjoint:

A good rule of thumb to go by is to put your plants into flower at exactly 1/3rd of the height that you can allow them to reach. Example. If you have 6feet of room with a 600watt hps (cooltubes/good venting) then you can allow 1 foot for pot clearance, 1 1/2 - 2 feet for the light, and that first initial foot is going to be hot so give some space for that and you end up with about 3 feet or so for plant height meaning you would put your plants into flower at 1 foot in this scenario. You may end up with a few 2 footers but they will be super fat so don't worry. have fun.
