i just read the pages between the post i quoted above and this page and i have to say i'm rather surprised that y'all have the mental capacity to find your keyboards. i'm sometimes tempted to believe i've wandered into a grade school chatroom. at the very least you've managed to cause me a certain amount of embarrassment at having even associated with y'all.

it is not a deviation from 'our society'. it is a PART of our society.

i still find it incredible that this type of ignorance exists in this times. homosexuals do not procreate, but that doesn't mean they lack the capacity of raising a child. they do not procreate, that doesn't mean some don't wish to adopt and have a family.

there are perfectly heterosexual humans who have neither the desire nor the mental capacity to have children, yet these 'single for life' individuals aren't characterized as being an 'aberration' .... why is that??

this whole idea that the cornerstone of greatness is a family unit with a father, a mother, and a child is total BS. there are homes with fathers and mothers which make less than ideal living situations for their kids. and this situation is somehow ignored b/c it's a father and a mother.

People are born with two heads, it happens in other species as well, how does that fact change abnormal to normal. People lose their freaking minds all the time, animals do as well, so that makes an insane person normal?

I could care less who is straight and who is gay, if my teenage son were to tell me he was gay, it wouldn't phase me at all. But, it wouldn't make him any less abnormal. I think you fellas need to stop trying to redefine the terminology, it makes you look stupid and hurts your argument. So it ain't NORMAL, who gives a shit, what's so great about being normal anyways.

insanity is a normal variation of the human mental condition, as homosexuality is a normal variation of the human sexual condition.

just like having green eyes may not be the norm, but it is a normal variation of human eye color.

is anyone going to try to say that these things are not normal variations? or are you all just going to continue on trying to make sure everyone knows gays are "not normal"?

I wouldn't argue that homosexuality isn't a normal variation. The sheer numbers and frequency of occurance would be against that argument. I guess the difference in examples like eye color is it doesn't affect the intended purpose of the eye, to see. Homosexuality is a natural variance that specifically affects the intended purpose of opposing sexes and the intended purpose of that lap pinky you're sporting (couldnt help it). I'm an anti-theist, so I ain't going down no religious road here, and I'm no great scientific mind, but I see a difference in the variation. Not judging, not good or bad, but clearly different.
