Growing Nirvanna AK-48 in Canna Coco vegged clones for 2 weeks and been flowering for 4 weeks under 1000 watts -using Canna A & B at 15ml per gallon, rhizotonic at 15 ml per gallon, Cannazyme at 9 ml per gallon, Boost at 10 ml per gallon, MagiCal at 5 ml per gallon and a few drops of superthrive every 2 weeks. I hand water with the solution at 5.8 PH every other day and always get at least 10% run off. I added 1/2 cup of compost tea I got at the hydro store about 3 weeks ago and think it may be the culprit. I have flushed with 5.8 ph water 3 times with about 2 gallons per 2 gallon pot each time over a two week period and I don't see anything getting better. I am missing something - please help
it starts with tiny brown spots on the leaves that just grow until what you see

i read that it can cause your plants to burn - as it changes their ability to use nutrients - a friend told me that if you use it you should cut nutes to 1/4 strength then gradually increase. If it is true WHY don't they share that info at the point of sale?
And does it look like nasty nute burn?

well, compost tea in and of itself IS a fertilizer. the entire reason for compost is to allow the organics in the mix to be broken down by bacteria and decay into their raw, composted form, releasing nitrogen and other nutrients in the process. while it can help with pest problems and increase production, this is due in large part to the bacteria contained in the mix. what is your runoff ph? the plant in the photo looks to be phosphorus deficient, which could either mean that it's underfed, or if the ph of the soil is too high it will lock the phosphorus out. it's hard to tell in the photo but is the spotting entirely brown or does it look purple under normal light?

you forgot an important possible reason, more likely in light of what you just said: deficiency due to lockout by toxicity (over abundance) of another element.

anyway, to the dude with the very curious and interesting problem: did you try flushing well?

You're right, they do die and fall off, but in my experience the leaves just turn yellow and wilt and then fall off. This guy here seems to have a different problem. If you look at the pics it appears like the leaves are getting burned.

Sorry, I'm no expert, so I can't help. I just would like to wish the OP good luck with getting his plants back to good health.

???? no its not normal leafs starting to die off half way he has a lock out of some sort IMO i would boost up your magical 20 ml per 20 litres drop the superthrive as well boost up your A and B to atleast 20 ml A and 20 ml ml B per per 20 litres of water make sure your ph is up min 6.4 heres some pics day 59 and up all green way it should be

Question is you say you have seen no improvement is that on any new growth or are leaves still dying even after you flushed? You for sure fried them with the soup you bought but now has the damage stopped or continuing?

much agreed. these leaves are not falling off simply due to the plants maturity, they're falling off because they're not getting the elements they need from.
