There are 2 mods that get those reports. Pm them and ask if I reported anyone. I handled that situation by talking to the people that made the remarks. You can also pm those 2 members too.

Actually, Gary was quite open about his dislike of a particular word. He made an open thread and voiced his opinion> Open thread, thereby exposing himself to potential blowback. Hardly the activity of a coward or hypocrite

This is what makes for shitty playground behavior. The "us and them" mentality.

My theory is that we are endoctrinated at a young age to be competitive, have rivalries and continue these beliefs through watching professional sports to get our jollies. It becomes an irresistible urge to see our-team kick their-team's asses.

It's not too difficult to see who goes out of their way to sew division, at least here. No, I wasn't including you in 'that-group' gary.

That was a typo, i meant a part of THE group that doesn't understand, but I guess 'their' is the same thing.

I'm just saying that there are people that don't understand the culture. <--- Am I incorrect in that statement?

I "get" the cultural difference. And tbh I don't really give a shit either way. But I also get the other side of the story and the possibility of perpetuating the n-word in any fashion -may- be a problem for some. I've noticed you've discontinued your use of it, in any form (on the forum) so I'll assume we both see each side of the coin and somewhat respect that. I have no prob w you being a freedom fighter against the N werd or against the word retard. I was just questioning, why now, is all.
