Help setting up a drying space

Also do you have links to examples or what you bought for a ro system for 130$? 5 filter system.. I feel like if I am using something not perfect for less costs that might as well be what you tried for the same purpose.

I know the ones I was looking at are some of the best and will do it but yea it costs alot.

Ok they do have used for 130$ but never tried used items on amazon. Never seen a open box option and been on amazon for a while, thats interesting. But new 170$ would have to wait.

I cant even find what I was looking at but it was between 2-300$. Closer to 300$. When I thought I needed it for dtw coco but found my tap works ok.

Yeah, mine was marked as used. It usually just means open or damaged box. If you click on that option, it will have a description that pretty much tells what is going on with it.

Just put the weed and meter in bag. Waiting to see what it reads in next few hrs.

People say let it dry for 7-10 days that these conditions would mandate longer dry time.

Maybe because temps are 63-70F but seems to be ready to press by day 5. All hard to the touch but some have flex, some are rock hard ready to crumble apart.

Stems snap on a lot of them but mostly on the tip you would hold the nug by, but some of them still have flex up the stem inside the nugs. Hard to explain.

Anyways. This watermelon ultra is tricky, the nugs dry a bit faster than kongs krush. I managed to uncaringly make a dried out nug smoke good but my next attempt was harsh.

Here we are now again with like an oz. Does this seem almost ready to press/cure? This is when it usually reads below 60rh and sometimes falsly seeming to be ready for press/jarring.

Bud trimmers, manual ones, I am going to get it real soon. Like right now or in couple weeks. But are there replacement blades? How long do the blades last? Is there a bud trimmer that has a reliable source for blades?

Aw ye! This thing is gonna help so much. The blade spins so fast its no wonder it trims so good. Got to see if this hopefully works with my main strain, about to grow out just one strain for some years so id be a relief if this is compatable with it.

Chopping this weekend which will make 10 weeks. Its just losing smell and stick now so Im pretty sure its done. Dont want to lose oils. Do these buds look like they will work with the trimmer?

How long do the blades last? Do you just keep buying the trimmer? Manual doesnt say.

Just hours away from reviewing the bud trimmer. Super excited and hope this strain works with it. Hoping I can just get it ready to press and leave any remaining leaves. See if harvest time can actually become a fun time and not nicknamed jail.

Waking up first thing in morning and chopping away. I waited seemingly too long, could be better chopped at week 9 which would help with my goals. Trying to consume only my own.

It was 100% orange hairs and sticky/smelly over a week ago but now faded a bit. So that will give me an extra amount overall between harvests. Hopefully waiting too long didnt lose oils or effect the rosin badly, my best results were fresh.

I thought people were exaggerating about trim jail, like really? Youre harvesting, isnt that the most relieving part? Noo… I almost panicked last time only being 10% done and wondering if I could even do it all.

I was so sore for days, almost weeks afterwards it was pretty bad.

And now Im frowning. Is this strain a bad breed if it pollinates itself? I didnt find any seeds until now its on one nug not sure how bad it is but it wasnt in any of the bud a few weeks ago.

An easy 2 oz pretty easy with trimmer, nice job vivosun! Most time spent checking how bad the seeds are, its not on all buds and its in the corner where as last chop was a more opened up area. Wondering if localized. Wondering so much.

Nice job!! Must have had a nanner or two sneak past the guards!!

Is this a male flower or nanner? It was on the very bottom larf nugs.. Is this a genetic/breeding thing or my fault? I really want to keep strain especially if this yields 20% rosin again which I read its fine for rosin still so im willing to work with this.

The nanner in the close up was hanging out the stem I think, was already falling out as I touched it. Is it a male flower making this a herm or just a nanner on its way out the bud?

Pretty much done, looks like a qp maybe more which is a lot for it to of had less space than the other plant. I did an oz before this too so thats already 5oz but will see. I eye ball a lot.

I started just trimming fan leaves and then straight de nug into the bowl trimmer. Its a rough trim but great enough for hash makers like me.

It even took care of the mini leaves that come out of the lower nugs of the canopy which are a pita to trim. Heck it all was. This is not like jail or slavery anymore.

Took about 1.5 hrs and had about 15 mins in smoke breaks. Last time took like 12 hrs nott even kidding.

Last time I asked they said hard to say the cause of nanners as if thats the case each time.

Is it good that I didnt see any of them other than a couple spots? What would you do? Keep running strain and see what happens under better conditions?

Now I think about it I had nanners almost on every plant I grew to harvest. Glad mold wasnt an issue this time at all for the last 5 strains. First time dealing with seeded bud.
