Help! Spider mites all over my buds!

lol! I have read your thread on Mighty Wash as well as a few others and people had good things to say about it, so I am indeed anxious to try it. Unfortunately, for my currents plants, I don't think I'd be able to get it in time. Perhaps I could spray the buds just before I harvest so that I won't be drying buds infested with mites. I was trying to look up the Mighty Wash but there isn't much info on it. All it says is frequency infused water, or charged water with maybe one small component of an unknown additive in it. I'd love to know if this is the type of thing that could be made at home. Is this the same thing as ionized (alkaline) water? Or is it created with an electrolysis machine? I'm all for companies making a profit, but $45 for a gallon of what is essentially water is a bit much. That being said, if it works, I'd definitely pay.
Can this be sprayed on buds? I remember reading something that it was more designed as a dunk to be used when the plants are small rather than a foliar spray.

This!!!!!! You can use up until harvest and it will knock them out. Make sure to follow up a week later. And go to the dollar store and get one of those things for cobwebs that you spin around, those will take the webs right off mites and all. Make sure you wash it well after done to get rid of the mites that are on it. I have tried those no pest strips and they have not worked. Maybe with small infestations in a small area, but not in a big grow room that is well ventilated.

Like I said, you can spray right up until harvest. I was skeptical at first, but it definitely works. Too late for floramite, not sure about aza max. Do something quick

That is the main reason I love mighty wash, you can use it up too harvest.. No way in hell I wanna spray Neem on my buds when they are forming.. Neem Stinks.

Not exactly sure what you are referring to. Is there a product I could Google that would give me a description of the device you have in mind? That type of thing would suit me because I think the dustbuster with corner attachment might still be a little too powerful.
I'm definitely going to try the Mighty Wash. I've tried many things in the past that have worked initially, and as soon as I thought all the mites were gone, boom, back they came. It seems like this is the type of product, much like safers soap, that mites can't build an immunity to. Does anyone have any idea about the mechanism of action i.e. how does it actually kill the mites?

1 litre water 4mls hydrogen peroxide,2 cloves of garlic,some locals here put some black and white pepper too.It works.100%.Its a bit basic,probably used before modern pesticides and fungicides,but many of the modern ones contain very similiar things with similiar properties.Ive a feeling it may be a little late Redoctober,try your best,try a couple of different ways.Humidity and ants eggs and caterpillars,that mix does work.Good luck Red.

I like the idea of home remedies you can make with common kitchen items. I think most of these products are way overpriced. That doesn't mean that they (or at least some of them) aren't effective, it just feels like as consumers, we get taken advantage of some of the time.

Consumerism my friends.they know our passion,so they create dream filling mixes and promises of dream buds.Im being a bit silly but 99% of all botany used to use natural remedies,technology can reproduce stronger and more eefective products i agree.But when you havent got them,,and you had them before,well you can get by just as well if you have the passion......But fucking humidity,,thats an art!

Well, I sprayed em all down with Organocide at lights out today. Let's hope the buds don't rot! The room is pretty well ventilated but the humidity does tend to creep up.

Hi Red,
Humidity and rain are my enemy,im working on it though!!gone through a few grows in these 75%-100% conditions and can get on top of them.Im happy with my neem and citronella,h2020,fans,i spray with very light organophosphate which is very hard core and probably only legal in asia,but it keeps everything away.love this weather for cloning,since joining the forum RIU,i have had better clone %.Its true,the family keeps feeding its people,until the people are family..Thank you RUI family.

if you're referring to the picture I posted thats a atomist, flo master . its an atomizer and its great for blasting the fuck out of what ever gets in the way. excellent way to foliar feed too. I suggest a speed controller to tone it down a bit, its harsh straight out of the box.

Hi Gang, good thread. My first grow is outside and I have seen some of these little bastards on a few leaves. I have a 12x12 dog run with 6mil clear plastic all around the outside fencing, top to bottom, but the top is open. Will no pest strips work outside? Someone mentioned citronella; will that work outside? Please and thank you!!
