help with aerogarden

hello out there,
i am looking for helpful and detailed advice as far as growing in an aerogarden is concerned. i tried to start one seed in the aerogarden and it just got really white and fuzzy. i have more seeds and will start over after I hear back from someone! thanks!

are you germing outside teh areograden? so that there are a few roots before you put them in teh nets?

should i? i didnt do that with the first seed...but i have thrown it out and am starting new seeds. I did put them in water and I have heard I should wrap them in a damp paper towel for a few days until the seed germinates. is that correct?

Get a moist paper towel and put seeds in it and get a cup and fill it up a little so it's as tall as your nail on your finger and put the paper towel in it and put it somewhere dark and check on it in like 3 days and you should have a few started.

that is Very correct. If you just put it into a net pot, an it became white & fuzzy, that means it molded, an you should steralize that net pot really good, rinse with hydrogen peroxcide and water. put your seeds into a damp paper towel and wait 2-4days till a stem appears. then make sure your net pot is *Filled with hortifibre or a peat substitut around the stem of the plant.

ok, i got the seeds in paper towel in a cup- i will check back soon for the next instruction. will i just push the roots into the aerogarden soil stuff? or just place it on top and let the roots frow into the soilstuff? ah! sorry, i dont know anything about growing. but a lot about consuming. :-)

Am I doing something wrong when I germinate a seed until it splits and then I plant it with the little tail but when once its in the soil it never sprouts?
