Help with humidity- first grow / CFL

Hey guys, this is my first post! I spent the last week reading through the entire site and just started my first grow three days ago. So far, I have four bagseeds in soil under four 5500k CFLs in a stealth grow box I made out of an old tv stand. I'll probably start a journal once my cable for my digital camera arrives. Anyways, everything is going alright so far, except that I can't fit a humidifier in my grow box due to space limitations and while the temp is around 75 degrees my humidity is only at 20%. Is there anything else I could do to raise the humidity??? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was wondering the same thing too. this is also my first grow. i heard that you could just put like a bucket of water in the room, or run a tub of water, but idk anything for sure. my humidity is at 40%

What I did in my seedling box was set the plants inside a cheap plastic litter pan in their pots and kept a little water in the bottom of the litter pan. When it dried up I added some more. Humidity went from 30 something to 60 something.

I keep red beer cups in my cupboard with damp paper towel hanging out to wick water out into teh air. What I found most effective though was when I transplanted into my big pots. The larger amount of damp soil knocked the humidity up by a solid 20+%
Good luck.

My growroom is actually an unheated room I heat it with my dehumidifiers exhaust (75F) but this causes my room to be always at 40% humidity. everywhere I read tells me it must be at 75-80%. While I'd love that, it just can't happen in my room. but I am in my 14th day of flowering at 40% humidity all the way from germination, and so far, no problems. Their water dries up a little faster due to the dryness, but that's it

but, if need be, you can just fill a few 5 gallon pots, os small garbage cans,2 cans in a 12' sq. room work.

well, I tried a few of your suggestions but the highest i got was 30%... apparently it's awfully dry in here... I'm going to try to get a big humidifier and just humidify the room whole room that the box is in and see if that helps. Doesn't seem to be having too much of an affect, 2 days after i put the germed seeds into their cups i already have little sprouts.... I'm so excited I can't wait, I'll be sure to get some pictures up as soon as i get my cable for my digi.
