Help with lights ???

I have two bulbs one stays white and the other one goes bright orange just wondering the best one to use. Also when starting growing what light cycle do I use??? thanks for any info

im asuming your using cfl's. the "white" one is better for vegging while the "bright orange" one is better for flowering. but you can use them both for now. for vegging ide stick to 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness. buy a timer, theyre handy.

Do you not have the specifics on the two bulbs? Watts, Lumens, Spectrum?

For all I know the white bulb could be an incandescent 10 watt bulb, and the bright orange could be a 1kw HPS. In which case I would use the HPS.
