Hi can anyone give me an insight on feminized seeds. i got meself some nirvana white widow feminized seeds grew them but 1 plant produced a pollen sack so i burst it and left the fans on to pollinate the rest of the plants. i believe it grew this pollen sack due to light stress (building site across the road cutting through power cables). the rest of the plants grew buds as well as seeds so am debating whether or not to use these in the future. the question is will these seeds be females (feminized) or will they be 50/50 and need sexing?? any help would be great

cheers

they will not be 50/50 they will be random you can only be absolutly sure they are females if they are clones otherwise it can be male it could be female

Good luck fellow grower

I am sure you will get varied opinions on his. But, from my research they will likely be female but with a good chance of being hermies as well.

Hard to say...was it a all male plant or Hermi?
I would just pop 6 seeds and see what happens. Find the females in the group. Flower and see if it comes out to be a true female or a fag.
But, before flower I would take a few clones..just in case luck is on your side.

From my understanding it should have produced female seeds, that
may hermie given the same conditions as to what made them hermie the first time. The fact that it hermied on the first one means it wasnt the most stable to begin with.

Lol. That is what 50/50 means. Regular seeds have 50/50 chance (each seed) of being either. Knowing what's what is done by sexing the plant.

yeah i dont what them to hermie again but if the conditions are right and no power cuts lol then hopefully they wont. am just not sure what to do pop them and see what happens or go and buy some already feminized seeds that i have done in the past

Your call. I would personally plant them and watch them. Fem seeds are known females that are stressed or chemically treated to hermie and self pollinate (a bit of time and selection to get it stable).

hermies suck too because even if you want seed and you have a hermie it will show the same characteristics and will most likely be hermie too

or you know what i mean lol i cant write what im thinking lol
That's why if a forum surf while medicated, I try to be extra cautious, especially with using my damn smart phone. Between answering the wrong posts and fat fingering, I have alot of edits. :)
