I made cannabis butter in my crockpot last night and let it cook for 12 hours on low! Just went to strain it in my cheesecloth and realized I never added water! Am I screwed? Did I mess my butter up?
Nope, not at all. The step of adding water in my opinion is a safeguard for the long cooking period. If you kept the lid on then you should be ok. If it doesnt smell or look burnt then you maybe in good shape. I never add water to my cannabutter but I also don't use a slow cooker/crockpot.
