Hey man listen. You obviously weren't aware and didn't know how to sex, you didn't have a clue other than they need water and light , and you had no interest involved other than supporting your family and being there. Do not feel foolish. These guys giving you crap are people that went in with full interest and studied the matter. It would have been more "foolish" to not ask at all and not have done a thing. It shows you care. There's plenty of people on this site that are happy to help. Myself included. Happy growing
Thank you so much!! I felt really bad. I’ll keep trying. I’m into it now. Hope I get something from these plants but will keep working at it. Gotta say I’m enjoying the experience. Never planted anything before!

First time growing. 1 plant bloomed before others and the buds don’t look strong or bunched together. They look thing weak and are turning purple. It almost looks like a flower. Is there something wrong? Is it time to harvest?
My best suggestion to you bud is start over and stay on the board. Keep asking questions, keep doing research. I am confused how you got them this far and don't see they are males but hey, we all start somewhere. Look at the bright side, they are still alive so better than some people's first attempt. Did you use reg seeds or fems? Where did you source them? Just a quick tip. When you post turn off those lights and use your flash, you will get a much better pic that is easier for folks to help you with. Good luck.

Yes , it is kinda funny after 10, 20 years of experience because we forget where we started. No big deal man. Take it lightly and just learn. who gives a fuck what people think....the more questions you ask , the more will get answered.

Thanks if I told ya the story it would really be funny!! My daughter left me to care for her crop while she took off. I knew nothing about it obviously. I read up but all new to me!! She better have a sense of humor when she gets back. Last thing she said was make sure there’s no males. Like I could tell!! I thought that tall plant was doing so well
Nice of you to pitch in like that.

Geez, tough crowd lol

Thank you! We just used some seed in our bag and figured let’s give it a try. In hindsight I don’t know how it didn’t realize there were males either. I just thought I was doing something wrong. Again it’s my daughter’s crop and she asked me to tend while she left I am learning and have to say was enjoying watching them grow until I knew something was wrong and found this site. Well I’ll keep at it. Thank you for your response

Hey no problem bud, we are here to help. Don't sweat it, in the end growing is a learning process. You now know what a male looks like so you have learned. Always more to learn, best advice I can give you is don't get discouraged. Things just happen when you grow, sometimes you just got to take the hit, realize you have learned something and move on to the next attempt. Glad you found the site, good luck with your grow.

It's all good Mickie. Folks on this site can be hard on newbs that haven't done the least bit of homework, throw their hands in the air and expect someone to solve all their problems for them. You've done well for what you were handed. You signed up, reached out with questions a did what needed to be done (kill, kill, kill). Welcome to RIU.

I'm sure your daughter will be disappointed but you can be a good dad by ordering her some feminized seeds for her next run.

Good to see @BobThe420Builder is still a grouchy ol' MF
