Hi, can someone please help me? The leafs are browned and folded (rolled up), it hasn't grown in a week. The PH level of water is 6.5-7.0. Should I flush it or wait a bit?

See how your leafs are getting ridges on them. Thats a sign of heat stress. lights are way too close. Move your lights up or move plants to side. Keep your temp around 75. Ph is fine but do not go over 7.0. 6.5 is best.

dont add any more nutes on that plant it hasplentyin the soil. good ph levles vary from strain to strain but a swing of 5.6-6.5 is best and you on the higher end of it at best. bring your ph down a bit.

Way too high???? Really?? The guy is growing in soil, not hydro. 7.0 is pH neutral and is ideal.

You're fine on the pH. Generally Miracle Grow soil is lightly acidic so you want slightly alkaline water to balance the acidity. Between 7.0-8.0 is great for early vegetation. As nutrients begin to release from the soil you can dial the pH down to the standard 7.0.

You need to know that Miracle Gro Potting Soil uses time release fertilizer which is released on every watering. If you over water a plant in MG, you can easily nuke it (if it's weak and young). Be sure that you're only watering when you need to (once every 4-7 days).

Oh, and by the way... if you flush your plant, you will kill it since the MG is going to blast the root mass with N-P-K.

Also, be sure that you mixed in Perlite and didn't plant directly into MG. If you don't mix in Perlite then the moisture will get locked up in the soil and make the time release fertilizer toxic.

I don't know why this guy is telling straight lies but if you reduce your pH to under 6.0 in Miracle Gro (which is already acidic) you are imposing a death sentence.

Take my word for it. I know because my most recent grow is in Miracle Gro: https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/165261-ms-simple-ak47-8.html#post2416729

Ph in clones and seeds is best at 6.2 then as they get more roots and are stable 6.5 is best.
MG has time released nutes in them, I dis like this because you burn a plant easy.

Hey chitown, I'm sorry to be a bit brash and arrogant there but the advise being given isn't sound. When we talk about pH we're talking about the plant's ability to absorb nutrients. Under standard conditions 7.0 is neutral and for soil this is the ideal range. However, MG's soil is acidic, in the 6.0 range so if you give it water with an acidic pH level, you effectively multiply the acidity which is going to lock out vital nutes. To level out the pH in MG, you need to water with an alkaline rating to level out the soil acidity.

As for whats wrong with the plant, that could be a number of things and yes it could easily be heat. CFLs don't put out a lot of heat but if the grow is enclosed the ambient heat does rise quickly.

Before considering all the possibilities we need to make sure the basics are covered. The plant is being watered only once a week, the pH of the water is alkaline, the soil is ammended so it's 75% MG and 25% Perlite, the temperature never goes over 80F, etc, etc

what do yu mean the ph level of water. you mean the water you water with? or do you mean the soil?

wow thanks everyone so much i think i maybe watering them too frequently. fucken miracle gro had no idea about the auto nute thing which makes me even more frustrated that I increased a bit more than half a teaspoon of flora nova into the the water, what would you recommend . transplanting the whole plant to better quality soil or just adding the perlite?

and if i was to add the perlite can I just pile the perlite on top of soil or do i need to fill up a pot and mix em all again?

and sorry for so many questions but im still not too sure about the watering schedule if I was to water once every four days should i give my plant about a whole cup of water or more?

and do i water with nutes or go once ever 4 day with natural water and after with nute water and keep cycling?

thanks from the comments from everyonekiss-ass

o and the most important question do they still have a shot of giving sum dank buds?
