Like, stagger the rate @ which you put plants in bloom. For example this would be one way of doing it, the way I do it. Put 6 plants under the HPS lights, one month later add another 6 plants, now another month later you would add another 6 plants & be harvesting your 1st 6x plant. & so on, so every month you add 6 plants replacing the 6 you harvest. & you would need some cfls / t5 light to keep your mother / clones going monthly.

you could do it with only two plants or up to however many you require. Once again, depending on your space & equip you could harvest every week. ^_^ But I prefer the monthly way.

yea i was thinking about doing that every few weeks or something i have cfls and a flower/veg room


just picked up 5 midnight kush too

yea not bad in the flowering room i have 3 that are in the wilma in the veg room i have about 3 waiting to get a lil bigger to go into flowering and the 2 mothers i will use.
the 5 seeds i picked up yesterday have cracked but gonna leave them in the paper towel for a little longer

also been told on one of the plants i got a slight nute burn so i could flush it out with water how would i do that ?

Don't flush it. Your plant is already suffering from heat stress and a slight nute burn so a flush will overload it. Save a flush for emergencies only (ie. your plant has severe nute burn).

Since you have 2x600w, if your 600w can go MH, I would use that in your veg room. You will see much better growth in your veg room. A perpetual grow sounds really good for your set-up, and you have some really good strains. Keep me updated on your progress, please. Good luck! :)

midnight joker the plant suffering nute burn isnt suffering from heat stress that plant never went into the flowering room

At present in the veg room i have 1 250 CFL on a home made hydro system
and the flowering room i have 1x600 hps i took the other out as it was far too hot now with the big fan on the light the temps are at 77.7

this is the same plant with the nute burn but i think its gettin worse even though i havent fed it anything

Could you post the pic of the plant with the nute burn??? I didn't notice any nute burn on your plants.

I agree with your decision to take out the second 600w light from your flowering room. Much too hot and obviously your plants agreed it was too hot. Your current temps in the flowering room are perfect, so nice job.

1x250w CFL for how many plants in your veg room?

Okay, your plant is suffering from nute burn, thanks for the pics. If the nute burn is getting worse, how long since the last feeding?

You will be fine with 5x250w CFL's, but since you have an extra 600w just sitting around now, does it convert to MH?

Whats MH last time i fed it was yesterday morning with nutes gave it a drop of just water earlier felt a bit dry

MH is Metal Halide. It is a light that has more of a blue spectrum which is used for vegetation growth. You will see nice bushy growth with MH, but only if your ballast supports it.

IMO, since you just fed yesterday, lay off the nutes for a week and water only. The nute burn I saw wasn't sever enough to warrant a flush. But if the plant doesn't look like it is recovering in a few days with just water, then you will have to flush. If you can get a hold of something like FoxFarm Sledge Hammer, then use that for a flush. I know you are in the UK, so I don't know what the availability is of Sledge Hammer, but you can also flush with just plain PH balanced water. But you need to know that a flush is always used as a last resort when all else has failed, so that is why I recommend waiting a few days to see if your plant will recover.

the water over here is quite hard (tap water) 8.2 i think so should i use some ph down to 5.8 before watering ?

the ballasts etc is 600w so i believe they should be transferable to MH

Yes, since your tap water is a PH of 8.2, then you need to balance your water always before watering. It should be between 5.5-6.3 for hydro. You also need to balance your PH before feeding too. That high of a PH will cause extra stress on your plants which may have contributed to your nute burn. Do you have a PH meter?

You can buy a MH conversion bulb to use your extra 600w light. Something like THIS would be perfect for your vegetation room.

Use dolomite lime next time and you won't ever have to worry about your soil or waters ph.. I used to go crazy trying to keep my ph in check until a wise grower showed me the light with dolomite lime... Don't even check my ph anymore and haven't had a problem since... Thanks WET :)

yes i normally measure the water to around 5.8

i have a 600 watt dual specturum sun master here if thats any good?
