I buy 90% of all my hard parts (hard parts = fans, building materials (mylar/panda/ect), ballasts, bulbs, and some myco inoculant on amazon. its 30% cheaper than in a brick and mortar store. you'll save quite a bit of coin that way. not sure if the UK has amazon available.

4 pots will fit under most hoods (all depends on style and hood light spread pattern for optimum light coverage). I run 4x pots under each hood (I run 3x600hps in flower 4.7gallon pots, and have 4-6 more off to the side 2.5 gallon). this is my tester area for new stuff.

don't get overwhelmed, a new grower and even a long term grower gets frustrated from time to time.
I see what u mean by booster fan, I need that to help the extractor fan carry the hot air out room as just an extractor fan will struggle to take the hot air out the room if it's going a fair distance. I get u now just the terminology used at times pickles ma head, blame that on the substance abuse, it's amazing how intelegent some of you weed smovers are lol

Yea I've got to say AGAIN....Lol.....I totally agree with everything demon has said and hope he's In for the journey as I am....as regarding nuits I would stick with the biobizz range that's wot I use with some plagron pk 13/14 and some cal/mag I also grow in bb allmix it just gives you a little more breathing space for the first 2weeks after you potup because it literally looks after the plants for you(no nuites needed as it has enuff init to c u through those first initial weeks)so with that being said I hope you get as much enjoyment with your first grow as I did don't hesitate to ask any questions and I hope all goes well.......best of luck mate......

if you double up on the high velocity fans for your scrubber/exhaust, that would be 100x better than just using 1 high velocity fan and a booster fan. the booster wont have enough "balls" to move any air, and will just inhibit your high velocity's fan speed a bit (the blades may be spinning, but it puts a small amount of drag on the other fans output. either double up on the h/o fans and put 2x speed controllers on them and dial them in together correctly, or jump up to a larger h/o fan, add a speed controller and dial it in (you may not even need a speed controller with the larger fan. this is all dependent on how long your exhaust ducting is and what size your carbon scrubber is. too much air flow can make the scrubber worthless (too much or not enough air flow).

I use fox farm ocean forest soil (amended with 1 cup powdered dolomite lime, and 1/3rd bag of chunky perlite per bag of OF soil. ive been using this for 4+ years and I doubt ill ever change whats been working. I don't use any ferts until week 6 in veg. Ive also been using technaflora ferts. its something I was given when I 1st started growing, and well once again whay change something that's been working.

Unfortunately we in the UK are mostly limited to the biobizz range or canna terra......both have versions with or without nuites so mainly that's wot we use......as regarding nuites yes we have a bit more choice but I find it better to stick with the nuites designed around the soil you r using.....

it shouldn't matter what nutes you use for a particular medium. granted theres a difference in coco, hydro, and soil (afaik). would you guys be able to source nutes via online? may be another option.

I would use CANNA way before I would use foxfarms products.......besides our country won't even allow it because of tight EU rules......
