Herbies - Mixed Review

So, placed an order with Herbies on the 2nd May. The eighth of May rolls around and they still havent sent me an email saying its been posted, or with the tracking info. So i email them asking whats going on? Im a little annoyed by this. They say they will post it in 2-3 days. Their reaponse? To paraphrase: "We're very sorry. It shoild have been posted by now. We will include 3 extra feminised freebies for your troubles. We will post it immediatwly and send you the tracking info by the end of the day". So although inwas annoyed with the delayed postage, they sure as hell made up for it with the extra 3 freebies. Cool cool. 48 hours then pass. No email with tracking info. I send another email: "Seriously, whats going on?". Reply from Herbies: "Your package was sent immediately. Here is another copy of the email we sent you with the tracking info". Wang the tracking info in....no package found. Wait 5 hours and there it is. But it says it was posted on the 10th. Long story short: they lied to me. Said they would post it immediately....didnt. Said they sent me an email with the info....didnt.

So yea, mixed review. Skrewed me around royaly, but threw in some extra freebies. Not sure if it makes up for it though. Will probably be some shitty strain i dont even want to grow. And i believe customes service is paramount. Without us they woukdnt even have a business, yet they treat me with such contemp.

All in all, id say im dissatisfied with the order as a whole. Dont think i will deal with Herbies again. Can easily go somewhere else that pretty much equivelent, but that wont screw me around and might even get my seeds to me in a reasonabke amount of time.

Just thought id share this with people. Take it or leave it. Whatever...

I'm up and down with herbies as well... In essence Herbies' isn't a bad company.... A few years back I wanted to make a large purchase in Dollars cash, but they would not honor the 10% discount as mentioned on their website. In order to get that 10% you would have to purchase online with credit card (or card of that nature). I didn't place the cash order and instead placed a smaller amount on my card, and yes I got my beans in reasonable time and good packaging material... I haven't ordered since because their pricing and "word of honor" not as good compared to attitude.

herbie's freebies are usually big bud #1, but let us know what you got if not big bud...

obvioisly not in the big scheme of things...and maybe the language was a little much (i was ranting) but when every other seedbank ive ordered through can get it done in timely fashion, and without flat out lies, im gonn say they screwed me. 9 days in. seeds should be arriving any day now...but no, gonna have to delay my grow bexause of them. So yea, im not happy.

Three orders with Herbies, all three went out the next day from ordering, arrived in 7-10 days. I've even emailed about some strains, very quick response time. One of my freebies was crushed when I got it, they even replaced it! Finally, they gave me fem instead of regular freebies when requested.

Sorry you had a bad experience OP...but I will say I am suspicious of people with so few posts complaining.

actually from Herbies to Chicago was onnly 14hours. it was slow ass Chicago tht prolonged the proccess (and horrible at tracking update) now i got beans i wont track nemore lol... slowest 6 days evr
but excellent service HERBIES!!!!!
highly highly highly recomend
answerd evry email i sent wit in 12hrs and he shippd as ssoon as store opend (i ordered at like 2am their time
if on Central timezone Herbies is 5hrs ahead of us..take tht into consideration b4 baggin herbie for no response..

Now tonight I did a check on the status and it says its reached the destination country. Now so far I think thats god damn fast. Hopefully sometime at the start of next week my beans will arrive to my door. Fingers crossed.
I`m just stoked that its arrived in OZ within 1 day of the email saying that its been posted.

Communication with herbies has been quick for me aswell.

Check the oz post site with your tracking number bro if it says it is accepted then it's here. The royal mail tracking is bullshit said to me and another mate "Your parcel has reached the destination country" when it actual fact it was still sitting in the UK. Mine took 7 working day's to get here and my mates took 10 working days. Don't know whats up with royal mail lately??

That has nothing to do with Herbies of course.

I bought about 30 beans from Herbies. Bought Thursday night, arrived in Oz by Saturday, arrived with me on Thursday.

Overall 5 working day shipping. Nice!

This was my second order from them...Haven't tried any others so can't compare though.

Yeah I'm trying to work it out myself? I mean 2 weeks to get here is bullshit! It's supposed to be express shipping!!! Royal mail needs to get there shit together.


You in QLD? Maybe they don't fly into Brisbane as much as other cities? I had no trouble when I lived in Vic the package always arrived in Melbourne in 24 hrs and I would get it in around 5 days.

I have since moved back to QLD and it's a joke trying to beans up here. Brissy is tight man. 2 packages seized already (mine and my mates).

damn... Royal Air had mine sent from UK to chicago 12-14 hours
however chicago took 5 days... but completely untouched.. go super stealth fuk the breeder paks all u need is seeds

Cool love melb always get my beans when it goes through there. Getting my resend sent to a mates in vic so hopefully I'll get this lot LOL

All me and my mates orders are super stealth (removed from breeders packs) Brisbane still get them. They are just all over them.
I know another friend here who ordered from Attitude and took 4 re-sends before he finnaly got one through. Another mate just gave up LOL!!

I'm going to just try a regular mail order and see if it gets through. Hopefully brissy customs are to busy chasing the tracked packages and the regular mail
will slip through? See how I go. My resend is definitely going through Melbourne this time thats for sure.

Sweet!! Like i said love VIC customs always get ya beans down there. Just waiting on SOS to get up and running again and that's where mine are heading next.

Just to update:

Pretty happy with Herbies in the end. For the initial delay in processing they sent me 3 free fem seeds. They turned out being Critical Sensi Star, so Im pretty happy about that.
I chose.the.super stealth option. Seeds.were just in lil baggies. I wont mention the stealth method, but ill just say it didnt provide much protection to the seeds. So 2 seeds were crushed upon arival. Emailed them znd they resent the seeds immediately, at no cost to me, no questions asked. The resend has now arrived and included 4 seeds. I got 2 extras for free.
So Herbies definately made up for rhe little hiccup early on. Im a happy customer.


And by the way, the Royal Mail tracking is bullshit. I emziled and asked herbies why it said it has arrived.in Aus on the royak mail website, but not on Aus Post, and they told me that the royal mail one is false, and that it mosy likely had.not.arrived in the country yet.
