Here Goes Nothing!

First build, first grow for two, medicinal patient operation. Two rooms both measuring 7x5x7 and housing xtrasun 6 inch air cooled hoods with appropriate bulbs. Lumatek 1000w/120v digital balasts. Air is being pulled through both hoods by a 10 inch max fan in one continous duct that flows through both rooms (with a booster fan in the wall) and takes a single 90 degree turn in the veg room to exhaust out a window. Both rooms have sealing doors that have integrated intake ducts with bio filters The veg room has a small home-made carbon filter in the back ceiling that pulls just enough in-take. The flowering room, which has a much larger home-made carbon filter that ducts to a 8 inch can fan and has, what seems to be, a negative pressure. This really pulls a lot of in-take air. Flat white paint for the walls. I Left the floor concrete to help cool keep things cool. Temps have reached as high as 85 degrees F with both lamps running, and as low as 70 degrees F when both lamps are off. With cooling outdoor temps the room is stabilizing nicely around 80 degrees F with lamps on. Clones were all purchased from a local dispensary: white widow (3), island sweet skunk (3), purple wreck (3), banana kush (2), and (1) burmese kush. The operation has been up and running for 24 days since we first transplanted the clones on Sep 19. For pots i am using black, 5 gallon buckets that have wholes drilled in the bottom, sitting on 1 inch overflow trays. Growing medium consists of ff ocean and perlite (2:1) I have not used any nutrients except for what is loaded into ff ocean. I water them around a half gallon(64 oz) every three days which floods them pretty nicely. The next day most of the excess water is usually soaked up, and by day three they are starting to look dry again. I recently noticed some milky white sediment in the bottom of the overflow trays. Now for some pics

Lots of new pics here. Struggled with heat issues for a while, the rooms have stabilized nicely around 77 F. Also had some electrical issues for a while and had to switch one digital ballast to a mag. Upon entering flowering for the first time, the first batch, sat in 36 hours of darkness before getting the hps. All plants have been tied down now after the first two pruning sessions. Some were tied right upon going to their flower cycle, the rest tied during veg. The batch in flowering are getting ff nutes big bloom/tiger bloom according to the nutes chart on their website and then cut in half (this is about every 3 days). Hanna device registered around 730ppm both times i have watered since moving them over. Water pH around 6.3/6.4 ea time. 600ppm of Grow big was used for the remaining veg plants at 6.3/6.4 pH. Watered veg last night (purple wreck x3 and iss x3) and they looked awesome, but they did not look well today. The plants have a adark green, droopy apperance. The room seemed a little humid today. The Flowering plants (WW x3,Banana Kush x2, Bermiese Kush x1) looked strong and were watered and given nutes for the second time. My questions to anyone that may want to help are these: What is going on with the droopy veg plants? How can i fix it? What are these blemishes on the leaves in my flower room? Can i tie down more of the really tall branches after they have been in flower for a week? How long till i start to see some fruits? How does the health of my flowering plants look?

Have not flushed, still researching the cause of the droopiness in the veg room. The symptoms appear on 5 of the 6 plants. The symptoms are actually much more dramatic today. Here are some new pics. If anyone has an input i would greatly appreciate the insight. If nothing else i will assume they are unable to obtain nitrogen and other nutes, and I will flush them tomorrow and try to adjust the pH of the soil.

After watering the plants moderately last night (pH 6.5 and no nutes), they have really bounced back. The overall integrity of the veg room seems much more stable today, as the volume of the plants is starting to return. There is some pretty severe damage to lower leaves on a few plants. Should i clear these all out using the 50% rule? Also, i noticed some of the fan leave stems are very red colored. Could this still be a symptom of a def???

I started with 12 hydro clones that were transplanted into fox farm ocean/perlite 2:1 mix. For the first thirty day i did not give them any additional nutrients. Half the plants were moved into flowering around day 35, and the other half is going to get a ridiculously long veg period (only time it will happen this way). The veg side has received nutes twice now. Both times i used ff grow big at around 600 ppm. Regular 6.5 pH water is going to be used every other watering cycle, eventually increasing the ppm to around 800-1000 ppm. After yesterdays problems and due to the size of the plants, i think i will be watering these every other day now. As far as my flowering side, i am using fox farm big bloom/tiger bloom (3:2) at around 730 ppm. I am pretty much following the feeding schedule on ff's site, and cutting the ppm in 1/2. These flowering plants will also be watered every other day and with regular 6.5 water every other feeding.

Everything seems to be stable again for the most part. Still lacking nutes, but they have only had reg water over the last few days. Here are some more pics.

Having issues with some very stretchy white widows, working on installing trellis netting to bend away/into the light. Will get a nice update later tonight or tomorrow. I also picked up open sesame, beastly bloom, and chaching :D

I really hope the first harvest is a successful one. Just planning on doing everything according to medicinal laws...:D My white widow plants are stretchy, so something had to be done. I used trellis netting to bend everything that was growing out of control. I started the new nutrients tonight so i now run grow big/big bloom in veg and big bloom/tiger bloom/beastly bloom in flower. Have the chaching nute for later, here are the long awaited pictures of my white widow x3, banana kush x2, and burmese kush x1.

Last time seeing these veg plants, for they are going away forever..:( They have now reached 60 in and are too large for my set-up. The flower room is looking beautiful. Here are some new pics, expect new clones soon!

Got rid of the overgrown veg plants and brought in seedlings from ak47 x kush, that will be in a new thread. The flower room looks great, tonight i switched to the last phase of solubles and began using chaching. The taller plants have recently been bent into the light and opened up using the trellis netting. Somewhat of a scrog grow now...here are some pics.
