"nutrient supplement for tomatoes and flowering plants" 10-52-10.. any ideas how well that will work?

You are still in veg right? That will be pretty good for flowering. The plants will use the P to induce and support developing flowers, this will play a key role in yield.

It will also work for veg, probably a good all around fertilizer. What kind of fertilizer is that?

I like to go organic due to the things you can find it other nutes. They can have metal contaminants like cadmium, lead, arsenic, and zinc in them.

it is the hydro shops own nutrient, here are the other micro-element breakdowns...

iron 0.1000%
manganese 0.0500%
zinc 0.0500%
copper 0.0500%
boron 0.0200%
molybdenum 0.0005%

apparently the same nutes for flowering will promote rapid root growth or something like that... then for vegging add a bit of 18-9-27 that they also sell

**pic update**

various pics of my babies... the 5 that all seem to have yellowing leaves are kinda confusing me... it is only the bottom leaves, and the new growth on those nodes is green as can be...

wow... no one knows or has a idea whats going on with these plants... ??? figured this would be a easy diagnosis... i was thinking it is nitrogen def, but i started giving them nutes a couple days ago... doesn't seem to be getting any better

Can be a few things. So lets plug in the variables and figure this out.

Could be N deficiency like you said. Could be that your PH is off so this is locking out nutes. Could be a watering problem...

They also do this in late stages of growth, but you aren't to that point yet.

doubt it is ph, i ph my water and it is also distilled water that has ozone added to it, i am watering only when the soil is dry a inch or two down, every 2-3 days or so... i started them on nutes 3 days ago, 10-52-10 as recommended by my hydro shop since this formula promotes root growth, they are getting a little under 1/2 strength...

I don't agree with the hydro guy. For veg you want something heavy in
N. You do want the phosphorous for the roots too, but I think the 10-52-10 is weighted far to heavy on the P side. I would shoot for something more balanced. Something like 10-10-5.

ok, so what if i get the other one they have that is 18-9-27, i am trying to conserve money right now as i am way over budget, these are not organic nutes... unfortunately, but they are only costing me $7 each, i didn't pick up the other one yet but on the one i have it says to mix the two together for the flowering stage, or els can you guys suggest another cheap alternative?

If those were my soon to be outdoor plants on a limited budget? I'm going to Wal-Mart and buying some nice liquid ferts something like 10-10-5 or even 10-10-10. Miracle-Gro or tomato food, something like that.

Look down at N def and they give brand names here: International Cannagraphic Magazine Forums - The Complete guide to Sick Plants,pH, and Pest troubles!

ya i think i am going to do that, I think i am going to postpone bringing them out for a week or two now, try to have them nice and healthy... thanks guys for the advice again

You are very welcome. I really want to see your plants flourish, you've worked so hard and this has such potential.

Wow. Those are looking great. Very perky.

thanks picasso, i am impressed with how fast they came back to life
i just wish i had figured out sooner that there was a problem... but all is well now and hopefully they didnt get too stressed out over that.

p.s., 4 more seeds went in the soil yesterday night, and looks like a few more will be going in tonite

Grow and learn. Any projected date for getting the plants in the ground?

Knew it was N. Good to see you got this under control now. They are looking real good man. Did you water them before you took those pics?
