Hey I don't know for sure but with about 3-6wks left won't that produce alot of seeds? I had a blue widow hermie on me late into flowering. I let it go a week maybe a week and a half. and I kinda got quite a few seeds from all the nugs that were underneath the nanners. Im just thinking with that much time left does the OP need to worry about getting all seeds? or does it take alot longer than that to get that many?

Also shouldn't you be pulling off the nanners as they grow it. THey will come back but if you keep plucking them it prevents more pollen being dumped into the room

one more thing that Im not positive of Im just raising the question, if you let pollen freely float around in your tent/area for that long that gives it time to go into fans, lights, floor, walls etc... Will that be a problem in future grows? After my plants were done I scrubbed everything for this fear the pollen would still be around to pollinate my next batch.

Im not an expert just thinking out loud maybe someone has better insight.

well yes Im afriad with how much flowering time left that I will end up with a shit ton of seeds and absolutly no smoke. but I guess I will have to wait and see, Im gonna let her ride out. I will just continue to pick her nuts off I guess.

and yea ur right, I guess I will have to wipe the room down before I flower other females

It happens, you should really check your room for light leaks, may be cause for her hermie, let her go if she is all you have and enjoy.
Also scrubb that room down good before starting a new girl in there so she won't get polinated
Ca$h

yep shes all I got. so Ima enjoy her. I have 6 plants in veg about 3weeks old. but thats it. hopefully I wont stress these ones out and I will be more aware of light leaking in but I feel I didnt pretty good with that

there are two types of hermies. there are natural hermies, that will herm no matter what anyway, then there are the stress hermies. stress hermies are fine, usually just a few nanners and only a few beans, sometimes too as pointed out the pollen may not be viable. Stress hermies produce mostly female seeds, however natural hermies will invariably produce hermie seed IME.

You could just try pulling the pollen sacs off to minimise damage, also keep the fans away if you can.

I deem thee best answer. thank you. I believe she is a stress hermie. She has taught me a lot.

turns out all my fat buds have become seed filled. ALL seeds. I still believe my plant hermied from stress VS genetics. Im hoping I end up with lots of good seeds. but damn it man, she is so sticky and skunky and delicious looking, so sad its mostly seeds. I want to harvest now but I plucked one of the seeds off and its almost like the texture of a grape inside. green and squishy...... if I harvest now I feel like I loose it all. its been in flower for 5 weeks. I guess I should at least let the seeds fully develop before I harvest.

Why would you want to use seeds from a hermie plant? I would need to KNOW that is was due to stress and not genetics, otherwise you would just be wasting a lot of time.
