They get very few banana's, but you say tomato and i say fuck it... It doesn't effect me so no worries here. Breeding takes to long anyways

I've always had the assumption forced hermies produce feminized seeds only if the pollen touched a different plant, and that a hermie plant pollinating itself will only contiinue the cycle of breeding hermies. I'm probably wrong because I am no expert.
Yes you would prefer it to pollinate another plant but the seeds the hermie plant will produce are also feminized but can have a slight chance of being hermies also.but not all will be.

Sure it is, just with a skipped generation.
Basically summarized its: Let a plant flower longer than needed to get pollen sacks to produce. (i.e. Stress it.)
Harvest those pollen. Then pollinate the next plants your growing out.
It's straight up, use hermie pollen to pollenate females.

Ok, I see, so I don't have to worry about stressing my plant if all I have is one. That's good assurance.

Here is one method...
snip..

After growing crop after crop of the same plants in the same conditions, I noticed that if I flowered the plants 10-14 days longer than usual, they would develop male "bananas." A male banana is a very slight male flower on a female marijuana plant that is formed because of stress. Usually they do not let out any pollen early enough to make seeds, but they sometimes do. They are a built-in safety factor so that in case of severe conditions, the plant can make sure the species is furthered.
No it's not
If you re-read your own posting it sure seems that a forced hermie is a good way to make feminised seeds.

if you have 1 hermie then let it pollenate your fems if you want seeds :) I prefer to clone.then I know all my plants are the best of the best and all female

You can reply with quote to the post, then copy the text out of the reply box and cancel, then reply with quote to another post and paste in the first copied text into the reply box with the other quote. You can do this as many times as you like to get all of the quoted posts you wish to respond to.

So any seeds I plant that come from this hermie plant will be definitively, without question hermie plants?

Ive only experienced one time with a hermi plant and it did have seeds, but imo a plant having a few banana leaves is not a HERMI. Thus your not causing it to hermi.. I have seen my own plants with bananas (ak-47) and not a single seed on them.. Like I said I don't really give a fuck either way. If your gonna make seeds DO IT THE RIGHT WAY.. And I don't care what anyone says, hermi seeds are most likely gonna produce hermi plants..

I wouldn't say for 100% sure but most likely they are gonna be... People are always looking for the quick and easy way out, and I'm not referiing to only you but if you can't pop a few beans and wait to see what their gonna be then your in the wrong business. Patients is a virtue

Well if a banan isn't herm in your book, then your an idiot in my book. Just because it hasn't pollenated your garden dosent mean they don't have the ability too. In that soma article posted by YOU he says that those bananas were used to pollinate his next crop. Ur just finishing ur plants with bananas before the pollen drops. This indicates you have good timing with your plants. If you went longer, those bananas would give you seeds.

Not if you pluck them... Or the one single one you might get... Like I said I really don't give a fuck, I have had banana leaves on my ladies and they never pollinated any of my other ladies SO asshole that's not a hermi.. To the OP, listen to these retards and you'll end up with hermi plants.. Do it the right way and grow regular seeds and wait to see what your gonna get.. Good luck

And no one said they don't have the ability to, but its NOT 100% for sure it's gonna either... I'm done arguing with you morons

The info you read was BAD, A HERMI PLANT WILL PRODUCE HERMI SEEDS WHICH WILL PRODUCE HERMI PLANTS.. It like a revolving door. Whoever said hermi's are good is FUCKIN RETARDED
You just called Riddleme retarded. Although he is no longer a part of this forum he still knows his shit.....pretty much makes you the moron. Or Cannabis forum Guru, whichever you prefer......
These things are over your head Max. You still cannot tell the difference between mite damage and early signs of a calcium deficency. I know you want to learn and help. Maybe spend more time learning and less time helping....

a plant with male and female parts(wether its just 1 sack or more)is a herm.
and seeds from some herm plants will not be herm seeds.
