The only downside to my hps is the fucking weight of the ballast! Dear God!!! WTF? Is there gold under that aluminum case? Darkmatter? A really bulky midget? Ballasts are too heavy is the case i'm trying to make.

I prefer HID over CFL. I use cfl for cloning and bottom lighting sometimes. I also use T8's to keep my clones under HID makes them grow too fast

You know everyone who says you need cfl for small cabs, you can have a 250w HPS as close as like 3 inches from the tops of a mature flowering plant with no burn or stress at all, obviously when there younger you need a good 6+ inches but every1 seems to think they are too powerful for small grow boxes but you really don't get that much heat of a 250w. Plus the bud size and density will shock you compared to CFL if youv never done HPS before. Just my input. Nice1
