It's worth mentioning I've found the quality hasn't been the best with big yeilds?
I noticed it over 2 consecutive crops? it was either bad luck with seeds "sensi skunk" or the more you get the quality suffers or the nutrient?
Canna and bio nova look the feckin same and i picked up bio instead of canna and that was used on said crops??

I was getting the hang of it when I got busted, when I got back into it I was able to get some great crops but I couldn't say it was great tasting only mediocre, I got sick of it I gave it break.

When I got back into it Feb 2020 I went back to basics that I new worked, just 5 plants no training, only tied over the day I flipped fed with canna and it was really good, so I've got a bit enthusiasm again but I dread putting the work in to get more mediocre.

Has anyone noticed this by chance or can anyone shed light on what happened?
was I just unlucky?
Could it have been the nutrient?
More likely the seed, I've no idea whatsoever, anyone?

What you saying the bigger your yeilds the buds are less quality

Said this sooo much..

SOG

Sea Of Green

Strain Dr Greenthumbs G-13

Lighting - 1K watt MH/HPS

4x4 tent

64 plants in 1 gallon Plant Warrior pots.

Flipped at 8 inch's. Each plant average yield - 32 grams

Yield = 2048 gram on average = 4.57 lbs

Soil = Potters Gold

Nutrient - Hesi soil. "ROOTS" was changed to 2.5 ml of Kelp extract per gallon. VIT was not used. Other them that - Follow the makers feed chart..

The power of SOG for yield potential? HUGE! You should see "rotating gardens" at work!

It's how you feed and how much you feed.

Proper nutrient or proper formulation of home made.
The trick is to learn what the plant strain likes as far as NPK and when to change/by how much.
You can manipulate taste, and to a point THC levels. That is limited by potential of the strain.

Change terp profiles. The forms of S in sulfate's works here.
THC levels" Manipulating The Fe and Mn in the micro nutrient availability ...

Your clearly more advanced than me I'm just a basic percy grower who hasn't a clue what went wrong, I do find it odd I never had trouble before using bio nova and since changing its been fine?

I couldn't face putting all the work in again for mediocre in return, if I knew it was some other issue besides the weight having an effect I could live with it, it's a lot of time money and effort for no reward?

He's right. SOG is the most productive in a small space and in a hurry. And it is really easy. Establish a mother. Take cuttings to fill your space. Figure 4' squared for each plant when finished. Root clones. Plant in troughs, window sill style boxes. Drain holes in one end at very lowest point and a scotch brite pad inside to retain medium of choice. And placed at an angle to drain into a catch tray or tank that you must put under the troughs. Veg for 2 weeks and flip. Water from res or by hand dump in highend until run off or use small pump and fish air line gang valves and check valves for auto water with a cheap timer. 4 weeks before harvest start the next run. I cycled 24 plants every 4 weeks in two small closets and a utility room window sill.

Sog is way too labour extensive for me, I can't be arsed taking 20/30/40 cuttings and all the work that comes with them, though I realise it's productive.

I can't help think of Ed Rosethal with his sog in a 4x4x4 box with hps and tubes using two small vents lol aye right...

Im gona watch for this as im after as much as possilbe out my space
I can't say with any certainty that it was the yeilds, it could have been the seed or nutrients, I asked on the scrog page about yeilds and quality but I never got any responses, I'm still none the wiser but I am dubious about trying to max out???
Someone must have had a shit load and noticed a decline in quality or not?

.

I just finished a grow in a 4x4 tent under a 1000 watt Black Dog phytomax, I got 854 grams (about 1.8 pounds).

I grew this garden from clones I ordered online: OG Kush 178 grams; Lemon Haze 213 grams; Blue dream 227 grams; Slurracane 239 grams. Dried and cured to 62% H.

I grew them topped 5 or 6 times and supported by a trellis. 7 gallon pots and promix. Dyna Gro Nutes.

My harvest weights have been increasing with each crop, first goal is to reach 1000 grams per harvest, then shoot for Black Dogs harvests of 1400 grams with the same conditions I grow in.

Yeah but anything can fuck up until it's clippin time. So, don't go sucking your own dick just yet. It only takes one day to fuck it all up no matter how great it's going.
I'm sure it would take more than one day to "fuck it all up", but yeh I rekn 3elbs first up is a bit out the gate lol. The sucking your own dick line cracked me up though.
