HIPPITY HIPPO’S GROJO

Hello everybody let me start by saying hello. I’m starting a new grow with a new soil. I retired my old soil I had used for about four years. So I’m excited to see how this grow goes. I built the soil out of a already amended Amish compost as the base. It’s made of 3 parts compost, 3 parts perlite , and 3 parts coco amended with kelp meal , dolomite lime , garden tone , glacial rock dust, and Gaia green 4-4-4 and about 2 large bags of recharge and ewc’s. Watered and stored for 40 days tilled occasionally. These are five weeks old. I transplanted to 20 gallon pots about 9 days ago. Never mind the net I have to repair some areas I had to cut from my last harvest next pics it’ll be cleaned up. But anyway I keep the net 8 inches above the pots and topping twice already topped once. They are just now coming out of shock for being transplanted and topped in four days but are coming to strong and happy. I feed them a regular diet of recharge twice weekly with silica blast and fish guts and some epsom salt. I rotate the fish guts to once weekly. Doing a plain epsom salt water in between. I’m going to veg the photos for 70 to 90 days or until I see the net getting to full for the stretch. I weave my plants the whole time thru veg and flower to optimize light coverage. I’m using two hlg 650 scorpions at 36” on 50% rh temps run 79 degrees to 83 degrees with lights on and about 78 with lights off. I put the pots on a wood frame elevated 8 inches using a 15 mil plastic food grade tarp slopped to act like a drip pan for run off water. I’m running 4 skunks and 2 pineapple number 2s and some autos to try out. Let me know what you think.F5114F23-D47B-4294-8640-7AFB2152205D.jpeg4ED73AF3-02E3-41B4-911C-D45221BCCC4D.jpeg8824E579-A25D-4094-8EDE-482D7850E76D.jpeg400B56E1-BE81-4C1E-B886-6F3A0D53FAFC.jpegDE2FC21C-26F4-4C84-A8DC-370D33A8DE19.jpeg9C8787C5-13D7-4FF4-8005-311D1FAD9A1D.jpegD3525DC7-F4B8-4D1C-A8FE-1A18AB36C822.jpegC90FFCAB-6E42-425A-87FA-AF83DF2A6C86.jpegED1996F4-8196-4F4F-B09C-26D3299DB5A4.jpegC4B8F89D-99B0-4D53-9F6B-153520B4FE11.jpeg

Just flipped to 12/12 last night. They’re getting to big for the net after they stretch the net will be completely full. Now the autos are doing good as well they were just a test run I don’t usually run autos but water to see how my soil treated them. I will be top dressing this week adding in some recharge and hiyield phosphorus with some Gaia green 2/8/4 F8204BA6-4067-4C7B-BE07-DFCE1B240ED1.jpeg3BCA8EEA-DA73-4CEC-B72B-F0B4205EFF25.jpeg516B048B-A6A0-4112-B5DE-C7366FFE4DA4.jpegF8204BA6-4067-4C7B-BE07-DFCE1B240ED1.jpeg3BCA8EEA-DA73-4CEC-B72B-F0B4205EFF25.jpeg516B048B-A6A0-4112-B5DE-C7366FFE4DA4.jpeg23EE7A54-EDFE-4C36-ACCE-059E670C58E8.jpeg39762F33-A4D0-4CA2-8A1C-077A66F12E7E.jpegB79589B0-03FD-42BA-9FEC-B1B170B2D91C.jpeg6476BF7B-27FE-4308-A3CE-F42FA9BE9F31.jpeg4936A2DC-167A-4DDE-9C1A-B50C58F04A18.jpeg0BA4D7C3-2DF3-417B-AD4F-1FFFF5E67DD9.jpeg

Top dressed today, did a little defoliating nothing very serious just some huge fan leaves blocking to much light. Also weaved some today. they are getting nice and big. The autos are swelling up nice. they’re just disappointing to me I don’t give them Much effort I guess and I screwed up by transplanting them I know I know your not supposed to but I was just not thinking or something and did it. Anyway they look good so far. Did some last weaving. Seen the buds are starting all over. The autos are swelling up nice. Watered yesterday about 2 gallons each for the photos like 1.5 for the autos in the big pots and about 1 for the autos in the ten gallon pots. Gave everybody some triple strength recharge to help kick into overdrive.

Showing some more swelling everything’s looking good and a nice green. It’s been two weeks on 12/12. Had some humidity issues due to a rainy week here but nothing serious or detrimental to anything. the autos are filling out nice as well very excited to try these Colorado cookies from Dutch passion. stay tuned for more.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days it’s been very busy I had some major rains hit and my sump pump gave out in the middle of the night. Woke up and went down stairs to one inch of water in my grow room and basement. Anyway got all that dealt with and cleaned up. Had me freaked out and running around doing all kinds of stuff to get this cleared up. But everything’s going good humidity’s are 58% and temps at 81-83 ground dry and plants happy lol. The individual plants are the autos. There looking good nothing major with them just some close ups.

Some pictures with the lights off. Had to pull a small auto in the back it had some mold on it due to low air flow and high cover crop it was in a area I couldn’t really get to all that well and when I seen it it was in the window so pulled it I’ve never had mold issues before and rather just remove the culprit then have it spread. So we are six weeks into flower I had to tie up the heavy buds everything is rock solid and heavy as hell. I ordered the pieces to make a top bet for support on my next grow so no more having to tie up buds and I think I’m going to take the whole net down to 6 inches above the pots instead of eight. I feel I could’ve gotten those lower branch’s up into the light better had it been lower. I dont really do any defoliation unless they’re old dead leafs or of that nature. But got about five weeks maybe four on some but I’d say five weeks on most. And got the seedlings all transplanted they where hungry. And getting ready to start prepping the outside areas soon. Hope it looks good. Feel free to let me know.

The seedlings are taking off. Everything else is doing good did some top dressing two days ago with Gaia green 2-8-4 and made some temp bloom compost tea with some recharge and 2-8-4 also. I gotta do some leaf picking tonight and they’ll be good to go about a month left. These are just seeds I had from bag weed from last year I think they are pineapple and two skunks but the seeds are doing awesome F54503F8-A55F-45B4-9DD3-7FFC4E30FFB6.jpeg04627F02-46A7-451E-96E0-DDAB2920C0A9.jpegC73F0823-2AAF-4C6E-A4A6-C67113F2797C.jpeg2B9D02EA-A4E4-495D-BF37-A3A6FBF0BCAC.jpeg0DC45859-0FD2-4E6C-9C04-620BDC7A687D.jpeg6CCA4FAD-A002-4B39-A787-5F4C47682F23.jpeg7ECA978A-455A-479B-AF07-6324DC906FC9.jpeg9B2C74C8-44D2-44A8-AEBC-E7D4EF69BF05.jpeg3346F497-600C-44F8-A21E-53A005A5F2AC.jpeg68C04E47-1FC5-44B9-965C-65EC9CE2328D.jpeg

Things are coming along strong I got the lights a little to close and crisped up some leafs I’m still getting used to the hlg and I added a second this grow and it was a lot. The outside stuff needs to go into the ground it’s just been so hot and they’re still acclimating to the heat and sun i got them in the porch or at least half of them they’re shaded at least so they’ll be in the ground next week.
