HLG 600W VS Mars Hydro FCE4800

Hi all. I have two HLG 600W Rspec V2 that I’ve had about 2+ years and I’m looking to convert to a bar setup. I have them both in a 4x8 with the power source outside the tent for take away heat. I still can’t max them out at 600W due to heat so I don’t get to take full advantage of the combined 1200W anyways.

i am considering selling these and replacing them with two Mars Hydro FCE4800 bar lights. They are more lightweight, easier to move around and put out more even coverage. Also they should save me energy costs. I can also dim my 600W to around 400-500W so I’m not too concerned with costs. Also being able to Daisy chain would be amazing!

would it be worth the swap or should I keep my HLG?

I want to reply but cant say on your lights. I made the jump from an htg 400watt hps to mars hydro ts3000 - for the short time I ran the 3000, it seemed like an upgrade, less heat, less operation cost and the plants appeared to show the same growth. Not long after though I upgraded again to the FC 6500 SAMSUNG. That was a total win.

As I said though, my case is different.
